Mediterranean Casita/ Guest House- Peers, Scottsdale, AZ

Mrs. Peers makes fantastic pieces of art from latch hook patterns (the art above the fireplace). The subtle hues of this piece became the inspiration for her guest house, which sits closely by her main home. Although her desires for the room were neutral, neutral and more neutral to compliment WHITE, I brought in plants to offer nature's coordinating color palette ( a touch of green). The pillows offer a tinge of green as well. Nailhead trim on subtle leather chairs and bamboo pillows and area rug give an organic nature to the design. I love bouncing all of the glass around the room from one element to another. This home in total was only 640 square feet, but looks so much larger and airy!
