I love using different patterns and creating of al points when doing a back splash. Not to say that one type of tile with no pattern does not look,good because of course it does. It really depends on how much space you have to create. In this case it was about keeping with the theme of the house but I wanted to different texture mixed in and that was using oil rubbed bronze tile to coordinate,with the lighting and hardware.
