X Press is a series of Mailboxes that are stylishly designed and have a tempered glass display, so you can see that you have mail!
Finished in automotive-grade epoxy powder paint and made entirely of solid steel, X Press is resilient and strong, withstanding all the harsh weather conditions of the cold winter winds and the hot summer sun.
A perfect front porch addition, X Press is available in 5 custom colours–black, white, red, bronze, and gunmetal grey. Contemporary in their angled perfection, without sacrificing the functionality of traditional mailboxes, X Press comprises an abstract geometric curve designed to perfectly accommodate a newspaper, while the mailbox’s overhanging flap makes it easy to access mail.

Small transitional brown one-story brick house exterior idea in Sydney with a tile roof and a hip roof
Tim Davies Landscaping | Perth
Looking for a unique garden that embraced the harsh location and unique architectural characteristics of the contemporary home, the owner employed the expertise of Tim Davies and Levi Carter of Tim Davies Landscaping to design and build this stunning landscape.
Being in close proximity to the coast, the planting palette needed to be closely considered to create a landscape that would be able to withstand the conditions. The client was determined to have a mature finish to the garden. In order to achieve this, Tim and Levi sourced a range of mature trees from around the state that were suitable for relocation. These species included Poinciana, Olive, Frangipani and Magnolia trees. Custom ornamentation also creates focal points throughout, while large graphite granite bowls and a custom solid granite planter alongside the pool work to tie the spaces together.
This minimal, contemporary design by Tim Davies Landscaping combines high-quality finishes with mature, lush planting to create habitable spaces that work aesthetically.

The Queensland Curve project features a high-quality collection of mailboxes fitted into a curved surround that gives a unique layout to this bank of Steel 2 mailboxes.
The Steel 2 mailbox used in this project is an in front / out front box that securely stores mail until a user accesses the individual mailbox with a coded key. Each mailbox is engraved with an identification number that allows the mailbox users to quickly and easily find their individual mailbox.
The surround frame that the mailboxes are fitted into was designed on-site and the bank of mailboxes were designed around the space available.

This 2,000 square foot renovation and addition to an existing 1,200 sf home overlooking the Red River builds itself quietly into the existing neighbourhood context. Preserving the existing mature site, the home’s interior is designed to capitalize on lush canopies that provide both natural cooling and privacy. A major feature of this home is its many interconnecting spaces and its tall barn-like interior which draws upon the client’s own childhood memories. Complex and layered views to the river and cityscape are composed from the interior spaces, one of which is a three-storey loft- like core to the home at which a number of key living spaces intersect.
An enclosed second-storey screened porch is integral to the building volume. It enforces the home’s inside-outside dialogue with its surroundings. The original home’s chimney was left as a playful conversation with the building’s own history, and its new life. Portions of the south structure and facade were maintained in order to capitalize on existing lot line conditions which are no longer permitted under current zoning requirements. The original home’s basement and some of its first floor walls were also reused in the reconstruction in their raw, original state, providing a complexity of contrast to the new butcher block stair case, glass railings, custom cabinetry, and clean lines of the new architecture.

The Plimsoll Building is a high-end residential building located in the heart of Kings Cross, London. This recently completed collection of apartments, duplexes and penthouses have breath-taking views over Gasholder Park, Regent’s Canal and the city of London beyond. The Plimsoll Building also houses King’s Cross Academy and the Frank Barnes School for Deaf Children.
The project is influenced by the rich heritage and history of Kings Cross, reflected in the refined interiors, meticulously crafted using a combination of the finest hand-picked materials by interior designers Johnson Naylor; and the design and layout of the mailboxes and their location was no exception.
The project features a minimalistic style combined with integrated sources of light to brighten the location and provide the luxury finish that the client was looking for.
Our mailboxes were to blend into the background of the lobby area with a clean finish, but when focussed upon, come alive with a visually interesting configuration of mailboxes. Unlike a classic bank of mailboxes with a rectangle or square overall shape, the Plimsoll Building Project has staggered the starting and ending points of the vertical columns of mailboxes.
The mailboxes are located in the reception lobby area of the building where residents walk through to access their apartments. Horizontal type ‘COM 2 – 180 Steel Door’ mailboxes have been recessed into the wall which ensured that there was enough space in the immediate area for residents to retrieve their mail whilst allowing other building users to pass in the corridor with ease. Using horizontal type mailboxes allows projects with a restricted height to fit a high number of mailboxes into their location area whilst receiving A4 mail, which was ideal for this project.
The mailboxes have been finished in a custom white colour sourced from a specialist paint supplier to meet the colour design of the rest of the immediate lobby area. The front door of each mailbox has been engraved with a bold jet-black colouring, numbered to match each individual apartment to ensure that residents can easily find their own mailbox. The engraving has been centralised with both the horizontal dimensions of the mailbox and the security lock, ensuring a coaxial design finish.
At The Safety Letterbox Company, we are continually working with our valued customers to turn your vision into reality – call us to discuss any requirements. For more information on the project, visit our website: http://www.safetyletterbox.com/cubeportfolio/the-plimsoll-building/
