This kitchen is a recent installation in the Horsham area that has been designed by George Harvey from our Horsham Showroom. This kitchen utilises German manufactured Nobilia furniture from the touch range. The touch range is a matt range that actually uses what Nobilia call a supermatt finish, this gives the door a true matt finish that is almost silky to touch. The lacquered laminate coating on the touch door means that unlike most matt effect doors it is highly resistant to fingerprints and other marks.
The touch doors in this kitchen have been used in Nobilia’s Line N handleless option to maximise the modern style that the touch door brings to a kitchen. As with any handleless kitchen a handrail must be used to allow access to cupboards, the slate grey handrail used for this kitchen contrasts really well with the Alpine white door fronts. Nobilia’s own range of laminate worktops have been used in again in the slate grey shade to complement the door fronts in this kitchen.
A unique feature of this kitchen is the built-in bottle rack, which can hold up to eight bottles and is a great solution for storing red wine at a suitable temperature and angle. Another great design feature for this kitchen is the display area which is a great use of space for both showcasing decorations and also for storing crockery. The cabinets above use Nobilia grey glass cabinet fronts which add another complementary texture to this kitchen.

This pantry was completed in white with shaker style drawers and doors and oil rubbed bronze hardware. The counter top is a matte finish to match the hardware. Corner shelves maximize the space with wire storage baskets for more diversity and functionality. There are also vertical storage shelves for large baking sheets or serving plates.

Vogue Kitchens
As part of a rear extension to a 20th Century Art Deco property in Middlesex, this minimalist open plan kitchen was designed by Jo Johal, managing director of Vogue Kitchens using furniture by German brand, Leicht.
Designed as a room in which to cook and entertain, the handleless kitchen maximises space and minimises clutter. Leading directly to an extensive garden via a wall of bi-fold doors that run the entire length of the kitchen which features Carbon Grey matt lacquered tall door fronts with and Platinum White laminate door and drawer fronts for the kitchen island.
Carbon grey-fronted storage abounds in this kitchen which features floor to ceiling cabinetry including a full-size contemporary pantry, further cupboards with pull out units and shelving together with a tall Le Mans corner unit to house an array of pans. Housed within is a fully integrated Liebherr Fridge and Freezer. Facing the garden the run of cabinetry continues with more storage units that surround a bank of Miele ovens – two 60cm multifunction pyrolytic ovens side-by-side topped by, a 45cm steam oven and a 45cm microwave.
A five metre by three metre kitchen island faces out to the garden and incorporates a wet area for food preparation at one end, surface cooking on a Miele 80cm induction hob take place at the centre and informal dining takes place at the other as the Quartzform worktop features an extended overhang with bar stools beneath. Within the undercounter cabinetry is a Miele 60cm Dishwasher and a Caple 60cm 2-Zone Wine Cooler. Directly above is a Gutmann Claro integrated Ceiling Extractor.
Behind the island is a further tall cupboard in carbon grey with pocket doors. By day, when closed, this forms a continuation of the run of cabinetry on the other side of the kitchen door. By night, when the pocket doors are folded back into recesses, an entire full-size backlit glass-backed bar area is revealed, with glass shelves and pull-out drawers beneath.

Feinmann, Inc.
When our clients acquired this classic Beacon Hill condominium overlooking Boston Common, they sought collaboration with Feinmann Design|Build to renovate the entire space. The lack of connection between the kitchen, located in the back of the home, and the living and dining rooms was the focus of the redesign. Also on the wish list was a new bedroom and a second family bathroom to be located in the area of the existing kitchen. The resulting plan for this extensive renovation was an updated floor plan to match our clients’ modern lifestyle, while retaining much of the homes original detail.
Connecting the most frequented rooms in the house required relocating the kitchen to the front of the condo to be closer to the living and dining rooms. A wall anchored by elegant columns defines the kitchen and adds sophistication to the adjoining dining room. Natural light shines through skylights that were exposed when the kitchen ceiling was opened and then styled to reflect the classic woodworking details found in the rest of the home. White marble counters grace the custom built island, perfect for a casual meal or for doing homework.
While reconfiguring the master bathroom and renovating the second bedroom proved to be a major project, our skilled team also relocated the new bedroom and family bathroom to the area where the kitchen formally was. Each of the three renovated bathrooms truly achieved a style of their own – in the Master Bath, a soaking tub and shower are enclosed, as is traditional in Japan, in floor to ceiling glass. To complete our clients wish list, we designed and built a classic Japanese Tatami room to double as both a guest bedroom and meditation space – a unique feature within a classically designed home.

We installed this fantastic matte finish grey kitchen in North County Dublin last year. Our clients had fantastic taste, and created a truly unusual kitchen in this mid sized space; blending traditional and modern through decorative choices.
We designed a single wall spaced encased around a bulkhead for an ultra sleek look. The simple doors in matte graphite teamed with a slightly lighter island colour and pale quartz countertop made for the perfect modern and versatile canvas. The simple chrome profile handles added just enough glamour to the simple design.
The kitchen truly came into it’s own with the client’s choice of finishing touches. The simple mirrored backsplash opened up the narrow space while creating a minimal and stylish finish, and the choice of a small runner of encaustic tiles created the perfect eclectic blend of old and new.
For appliances, we tried to keep the look slick and simple, going for integrated finishes wherever possible including fridge/freezer and dishwasher, and a stainless steel and black Electrolux double oven and warming drawer.

We love this space!
The client wanted to open up two rooms into one by taking out the dividing wall. This really opened up the space and created a real social space for the whole family.
The are lots f nice features within this design, the L shape island works perfectly in the space. The patterned floor and exposed brick work really give this design character.

This stunning matt black ply kitchen with grey-finished ply worktop was such a gorgeous, modern addition to the open living area, being a bold but beautiful touch. New appliances were fitted throughout the kitchen, including a sleek induction hob. The new kitchen layout is a large improvement on the previous plans - it previously ran along the length of the open living space, making defined zones for other areas difficult to create, and being a far less functional kitchen to work with. There was previously a wall where the down-stand now is, with this space being a slim bathroom. We opened up the wall and fitted a beam above as proposed by the Structural engineer involved, allowing for a much larger kitchen and living space. The reclaimed parquet wood flooring blocks were fitted in a herringbone design, adding a stunning warm touch to the space and replacing the previous lack of flooring in this area, exposed concrete being a reminder of the extension fitted some time ago. Dulux's Brilliant White paint was used to coat the walls and ceiling, being a lovely fresh backdrop for the various furnishings, wall art and plants to be styled in the living area. The vintage furnishings and reclaimed flooring sourced in the open living area work perfectly with the kitchen, uniting to create a warm and inviting industrial feeling in the space.
