This great room was designed by the architect and me to create a mountain lodge. The flloors are distressed wood and covered by an oriental rug in the conversation area. All sofas and chairs are covered in leather. The cabinet next to the fireplace is a bar. Carefully located small fixtures in the living room and dining room provide accent lighting. The client requeted two dining tables each of which can seat 4 to 8 people with and without the leaves. When moved together, they can seat 14 people. The ceiling pendants have mica shades and provide general lighting as well as down lights over the tables. The 2 end fixtures are centered over the 2 tables. When the tables are moved together, the 3 fixtures are over the extended table.
