The Carter House
Contemporary Kitchen, Cheshire
The property is great II listed, so it was important to strike the perfect balance between the old and new. This was achieved through selection of materials and careful placement of architectural lighting.
Kitchen-dining space needed to work and adapt very efficiently. Being passionate cooks, they particularly wanted clearly defined kitchen and dining areas in an open-plan layout that would allow for easy and sociable entertaining.
Kitchen island with waterfall worktop is positioned to work from both sides, whether cooking, serving or clearing up.
Worktops on the island and coffee station are Calacatta quartz. Perfect for those wanting the natural beauty of marble without any of the disadvantages of a marble worktop.
