Capital State Remodel

We were so lucky to find Capital State Remodel! Ariel was so competent and professional. He solved the problem of our leaking roof and was a pleasure to work with. We will be using Capital State Remodel again for some other projects that we would like to do. We highly recommend Ariel!

We hired Capital State Remodel to basically rebuild our pier and beam house in July 2017. We had a semi-plan with semi-drawings, but Ariel was able to get us started within a very short period of time. He quoted us a very reasonable and realistic timeline and worked very hard to get us back in the house as fast as possible. We had a brand new infant daughter and he respected our desire for her to have a home. I am a very “cost conscious“ person and I wanted to have lots of input into materials. We hunted down doors and vanities at various and sundry locations and Ariel was more than happy to work with us on that. Ariel always showed up. From the day the first permit was pulled Ariel was on site coordinating with his subs and clearly communicating a schedule to us. We were staying on the other side of town and he was always available to meet me at the property when something needed to be explained or discussed. Even on the occasions that he had news that we didn’t want to hear he showed up and dealt with it. He was very respectful of our wishes even when he disagreed, and he was never too proud when he turned out to be right. Overall, Ariel was very easy to work with and easy to talk to and I would call him again if I needed anything else done. He’s a genuinely decent guy in a business that can be pretty sketchy. Probably the only drawback is that he is a Yankees fan. Luckily, they weren’t very good when he was working on our house.

Ariel and his team worked on our shower tile back in December and they did a great job! They were quick, arrived when they said they would, courteous, and did quality work. Ariel also recommended that I buy the tile myself to save some money as he would charge a fee to source, etc. I found that very helpful. I would recommend and use Capital State Remodel again.

Ariel completely redid my back deck that was 15 years old and fixed my side gate. He was easy to work with, very efficient (he got the job done in one day!), affordable and provided me with photos of his completed work. I don't live in TX where the home is, so I was nervous about hiring someone I've never met, but my tenant met with him and we were both extremely satisfied with the quality of his work so much so that I am going to have Ariel work on the roof of my house next. I would definitely recommend him!!

Areil and two other workers came out last night (April 3rd) to build a temporary support wall in an emergency situation ( our neighbor drove his car in to our house). Quality work and I feel safe now that I know the wall of my house won't collapse. Waiting on him to come back out and do a bid for repair to house from where car drove through it.

He helped oversee maintenance, repairs and debris removal from a property I had listed under contract. He was very efficient, attentive, and responsive to phone calls. I never had any issues in communication with him. We found his service very dependable and would absolutely recommend him to future clients.

I am a photographer that worked on a couple projects for Ariel. He is absolutely a pleasure to work with. Hi work is very good and makes a photographers job easy. I can also tell his clients love him as they were so willing to allow us to come in and move things around in their home to capture photos. While interacting with his clients they spoke very highly of him.

While doing this project Arial was noticing other problems in the house that need to be fixed and was ready to take the other assignments that I added while removing the porch with no problem. I hired "Standard Capital State" to fix my roof it was leaking. Worker came in time and worked the whole day and finish all job in one day. I'm very happy with work. It's past more than 1 year, but roof is good! I also was very thankful that I can pay for the job with installments. It is very important to me to get job done and be able to pay for the job.
