We feel very fortunate to have found Mari Johnson. I have been a happy shopper at her store for years so when we wanted to redo our master bedroom and bathroom we engaged her. She is a remarkable talent. My husband loves the fact that she "goes shopping in your own home" before recommending buying anything new. She is very cost conscious. We are in love with everything she has done for us. I just wish I could do more projects with her immediately.

I hired the in house designer here to fix up my house and I was extremely pleased! The selection in the store was excellent and I was able to special order a few of the larger pieces I needed. The service was professional and stress free and my place now looks like an adult lives there!

With over 100 manufactures, this is my one stop shop for all of my clients needs. The owner and staff are incredibly talented at merchandising with a constant flow of new products which keeps me coming back in client after client.

I have just found one of the most beautiful locally owned furniture stores in Austin. This is a hidden gem filled with French inspired furniture and accessories. Not to be outdone by the beautiful assortment of transitional furniture blended alongside it. This is a must go see store!

My relationship with Mari Johnson and Back Home Living is the best thing I have done for myself in my adult life. I finally just said, "I am going to do something for me!" I purchased a new home and left all off the details to Mari Johnson and her staff. It was a leap of faith. They worked with some of the items that I had and furnished a large portion of the home. They selected paint colors, curtains, rugs, paintings and furnishings. When I showed up at my house for the big "unveiling" ---I literally cried. It was so amazing. I could not believe that this was MY house. They had curated my home to match my lifestyle exactly. They listen to the client. Mari is very intuitive. The quality is good and the pricing is reasonable. Now I know how people feel when they say its hard to stay in Hotels. I love my home best. There is no place I would rather be than my home. I highly recommend Back Home Living.

I have ALWAYS enjoyed going into this store whether it be for ideas or on the hunt for a particular item. Over the years they have been very helpful whether it is choosing furniture, artwork or decor accessory. I have never had to return an item, but their 24 hour "try it out" policy is perfect for those times you are not certain that the item you want to purchase will work. Their design "eye" and style is spot on. The delivery staff they employ is beyond professional and super mindful of the pieces they deliver AND of the home they deliver to. I've never had such hands down careful handling of items and of concern for movement once inside delivery destination. Way to go Back Home, thanks for all the years of "treasure hunting" and for all the lovely pieces I've "found" :)
