We wouldn't hire California Building Innovations, Raul Ramirez or Casanova Renovations again ever, for anything. They spin a good story in the beginning of what they can do and what you'll have, but, after we paid them our money, it was worse than pulling teeth to get them to show up and complete anything. With a string of excuses in the beginning and not returning phone calls, text messages or emails we had to terminate Raul Ramirez and California Building Innovations from completing the project. The only thing they were good at was showing up on time to collect our money and they never got us what we paid for. If you want to save yourself a lot of Wasted Time, Grief and Aggravation and Wasted Money, stay away from California Building Innovations.

Fair review (not a bad review) 1. ADU Project was promised to be done in 6 months, it got delayed (COVID & 10 other excuses they can come up with) and eventually never finished. See pictures- this is what they finished in 8 months. 2. Left project unfinished with partial floors, unfinished kitchen & bath, cracking stucco, missing roof , open trench and trash all over the place (see pictures) 3. There are weeks when no crew would showed up and I received no communication from company. 4. After collecting deposit, owner Raul visited the project once (to collect $$$) , project manager Anthony Visited 4-5 times over span of 8 months. 5. Raul (owner) and Anthony (project manager) Will not return numerous phone calls or text messages, but they will be calling you when Payment is due and ask for money ahead of schedule. 6. Contract had to be terminated for failure to perform. I highly Recommend this company, IF YOU want your ADU or construction project NOT be completed, or to go over budget , or if prefer contractors who don’t show up, make broken promises and don’t answer your calls/text.
