Carsten is a crook He lacks professional or moral ethics. We engaged Carsten & KMC Homes for a 2nd storey extension to be done spring 2022 He took 82K of our money and hired unprofessional people (incompetent roofer & un-qualified electrician) and did not pay them Check the Trusted Pro's review of him. Sadly I did not until after my encounter with him. I just want to get the word out that he seems to regularly leave customers without delivering the reno and takes their money. Be warned.

I hired Carson to help me build an ICF home. He was instrumental in the success of this project. He offered me all sorts of insight into how to make sure the project goes smoothly and we build the best home possible. I contracted him to help me with the foundation but in the end ended up using them for all sorts of other parts of the project. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to build a beautiful custom home

The finished deck is great but the damage to the surrounding grass area from the front end digger used for the 3 cement footings caused a lot of damage resulting in topsoil and grass reseeding. Project took 3 weeks which was acceptable.

The whole experience- from planning to completion- of the new deck on the back of my house in 2016 was delightful. These young men were hard working, talented, open to alterations in plans, efficient and polite. Last summer was particularly and consistently hot but the work progressed in a timely manner regardless. They stayed within the initial budget and there was no mess left behind upon completion. I would definitely recommend this company.

Carsten and his team did renovations of my Victorian house. I was amazed by their attention to detail and capacity to oversee things on schedule. They far exceeded all of my expectations and would immediately turn to them if we were to have any additional renovation needs. These guys are full service -- from creating the design to following through in making it exactly as it was planned. Everyone at CL Carpentry, care and work hard to make one's renovations go very smoothly.
