Edward Hagestad founded Hagestad Painting & Coatings Inc over 60 years ago. Operating out of Kalispell, Edward performed work across Montana and quickly became renowned for quality craftsmanship. E. Mick Hagestad began working with his father Edward as a painter while still in high school. Soon after graduating from the University of Montana, Mick took over operations and continued to work for the growth of Hagestad while building its reputation as one of the premier painting and decorating contractors of America. Over nine years ago, Kelson Ramey joined the Hagestad’s House Painting team as a project manager and estimator. He brought many years of hands-on construction experience to Hagestad’s team of painters. While gaining experience as a painter in the field, he ran the day-to-day management and business operations of the company. Recently, Mick Hagestad retired from the business. Kelson is now owner and president of Hagestad Painting & Coatings Inc. We belong to the Kalispell Chamber of Commerce, Painting and Decorating Contractors of America, Flathead Builders Association and are HUBZone Certified.
