Our goal as a firm is to understand what is unique about each client and each site and translate these qualities into architecture that is expressive of the times. Consequently, our project all look very different but have been commended by critics with the same words: "Elegant, minimal, refined." Our ethic is to design sustainable buildings of lasting quality that are quietly beautiful with an economy of means.

Purdy O'Gwynn firm's work on 2 projects was extremely professional and exceeded all my expectations. A total remodel and addition on a 1860's home and a complete remodel on 4 unit brownstone were completed on time and within my budget.They are creative and good at listening to their clients wishes. I highly recommend this firm.

Tom and Linda helped us transform our new home!! They listened attentively and came up with ideas that felt both warm and yet contemporary. We both had fallen in love with Moroccan architecture during a trip and they created a Moroccan themed space that was both light and innovative!
