We are repeat customers of Regal Contracting, as are several of our neighbors, and would not even consider using anyone else for renovating our home! Regal did a whole house renovation for us in the past, and when we were ready to move to a larger home, the house they renovated sold in 4 days, largely because of the beautiful work they did. Regal recently renovated a primary bathroom for us – a complete gut job. Regal (Doug and Debbie) are great project managers and we always know what the schedule is and what to expect. The trades people they use are all not only all great human beings that are delightful to have in your home, but they are also master crafts people. They make sure the work is of the highest quality and standard and that you are satisfied every step of the way. Their work is impeccable. I’d highly recommend Regal..they have always been a pleasure to work with!

Doug and Debbie Scott and Regal Contracting remodeled our kitchen. It was a custom job with new cabinets designed and installed along with brand new appliances, extra outlets for our various small appliances, a new quartz countertop, and a big sink. As anyone who's done a home remodel will tell you, it can be pretty stressful having a bunch of strangers come in, rip out the existing structure and then start installing a new, expensive one. But Doug babysat us through the entire process and was on top of every detail. His subcontractors were also aces! My wife has a Type A personality and unlike me has the ability to spot any minor flaw that exists, and as with all work like this, she was able to spot a few areas that needed attention. Doug was very timely in making sure that everything about our new kitchen was perfectly dialed in. A new kitchen, done well, is not cheap, but the old saying, "You get what you pay for" was so true in this instance. Our new kitchen and the general absence of stress surrounding its construction was worth every penny. Thanks Doug and Debbie! Well done!

The Scott family took care of the renovation of my childhood home in Santa Ana in 2017. We blew out walls, raised ceilings, replumbed, re-roofed, put in new floor coverings, replaced most of the windows, installed a lot of new electrics, installed a new HVAC system and gutted the master bedroom suite, kitchen, and hallway down to the studs then completely rebuilt from there. I asked them not to paint the finished plasterwork because I wanted to do that myself, which was a mistake on my part. They sustained their attention to detail and emphasis on quality throughout the 5-month job and were never content to let even the slightest imperfection slip by. For instance, the tile line in the shower pan diverged a quarter inch from being parallel with the pan edge, which was barely noticeable and although I assured Doug it was fine, he insisted on working with me for a better solution. His tiler ended up laying a pebbled surface, which not only solved the alignment problem, but looked even better than the first tiles. There were other instances like this during the job as well, and the end result was finely finished, high quality major renovation. Furthermore, their integrity didn’t end with the job. When we discovered our A/C unit had been slowly leaking over the last three years, Doug got on the line with his HVAC contractor the same day I reached out and within a week, the problem was fixed. Regal’s bid fell in the middle range, but they are worth the premium.

100% recommend. Doug and Debbie were professional, organized, and saw our project through to the end, even the little clean-up details. Every hiccup and setback (these are inevitable during any construction project -- but particularly this year!) was communicated to us clearly and transparently, and they went above and beyond to ensure that we were happy with the work, even if it took them longer. We can't believe the transformation -- we are so, so happy with the quality of our remodel.

It is always a delight to work with Regal. I don’t allow any other contractor to work on my home renovation projects. They are always listening to what I want and they do an excellent job with high attention to detail. They help me make choices and I have always loved living with the choices I have made with their help. There is not another contractor that I would rather work with.

If I could give these guys 10 stars I would. There's not enough good things to say about Doug and Debbie. They are friendly, professional and extremely easy to work with. Their subs are the same. They show up when they say they will, and they come to work every day...no big gaps of time where nobody shows up. Bottom line: HIRE THEM.

I cannot say enough about Doug and Debbie/Regal Contracting. They are extremely easy to work with, communications were always clear, and their initial bid was right on target with the finished billing (with the exception of any items we added during the remodel). Their subcontractors were all experts in their particular field. They were always on-time for scheduled work. The work and completed rooms are beautiful!

Our remodel was not planned due to unexpected water damage but Regal company did a fantastic job walking us through the various steps and giving us different ideas to use. Communication was great. It was personalized service including Saturdays if needed. They have a hard-working, reliable crew. Doug and Debbie are extremely conscientious of the quality of service and work they provide. We love being in our kitchen/ family room and dining room so much more now.

Regal Contracting is a fabulous company. They remodeled 2 very old bathrooms and a large master closet for me that turned out beautifully and came within budget. In addition they repaired 2 damaged hall closets and removed pocket doors and old fashioned trim in a hallway Their subs are professional and trustworthy. All those within the company and working for the company are timely, very neat, demonstrate excellent workmanship and are detail oriented. I used a separate decorator with whom they worked easily. The collaboration was seamless. Doug and Debbie are very responsive and only a phone call away. Plus- they seem to enjoy what they are doing and bring energy and good humor to the work site. They are excellent listeners. I woulds absolutely use them again and confidently recommend them

The key to selecting a professional general contractor rest with the subcontractors they use. Doug has the "Cream of the Crop". Every one has years of experience in their trades and has in-depth knowledge of how to avoid construction problems before they begin. On top of that, Doug is an honest man. I have used Regal twice and would not hesitate to use them in the future

Regal Contracting was highly recommended to us. After meeting Doug and Debbie Scott, we were so impressed with them personally that we did not check out any other contractors. They listened to what we wanted, offered suggestions and worked with us to settle on a list of high value tasks that fit our budget. We touched every room in the house: replaced windows, enlarged living room by removing pony wall, removed popcorn ceilings, remodeled three bathrooms, painted inside and out, new flooring and baseboards, and new front door. Our kitchen was completely rebuilt, enlarging it without pushing out walls. The kitchen is stunning! Doug and Debbie did an outstanding job in coordinating the whole project. They worked alongside their subcontractor team, offering input and joining in to help move the work forward. Doug and Debbie have a relaxed but professional rapport with them. Their team is professional, on-time, friendly and efficient. It was a pleasure to have them all in our home. Doug’s extensive construction knowledge played into every aspect of the job. He was ever vigilant to make sure the job was going right. He came up with cost-effective solutions to problems that were uncovered. He paid attention to every detail and he personally performed much detailed work. Debbie played an invaluable role as advisor as we selected all the products needed for our remodel. Her extensive knowledge of products and suppliers, combined with her awareness of our budget, made her help priceless. We highly recommended Regal Contracting. We would call on them for any future work.
