We purchased a kitchen table and chairs and a TV console. I live in MA but was visiting a friend who lived near the showroom. I went in to just get ideas, but Rod was so helpful and friendly that I asked if there was any way I could purchase from him. He said they do that all the time. I got to pick out exactly what I wanted, choose my wood, stain color, chair type, table pedestal. It was fantastic. Rod sent me color swatches of wood to try at home. Even with the delivery charge it still cost me less that what it would have cost me to buy something from a big box store and the quality and selection was so much better. The delivery process went extremely smoothly. When the items were ready I was given a delivery day and the night before they called to give me a 2 hour window for the delivery. The delivery people were friendly, prompt, very careful with everything, and took away all the packing material. I could not have asked for a better experience all around. In the future if I have any furniture needs I will be shopping at Geitgey's.

In the last few years we have purchased many pieces of furniture from Rod Geitgey at Geitgey's Amish Country Furnishings, including several custom items. We are extremely happy with all of our purchases and we are most impressed with the custom items that Rod has created for us. The custom items have turned out just fantastic with attention to detail beyond our expectations. We purchased a large custom dining room table with 14 leaves that can seat as few as 10 people and expand to seat up to 26 people and everyone marvels at it. We also purchased a large cocktail table for our family room which has multiple types of wood and a beautiful complex pattern. Recently, we asked Rod to create an unusually shaped custom accent table to go with it. Rod was able to masterfully design the new table with a wedge shape to fit into the corner and to perfectly match the types of wood, pattern and stain color. Our family and guests continue to admire the beauty and craftsmanship of these pieces. We also asked Rod to do a custom desk for our new master suite office that coordinated with all of the existing furniture in that area. Again, he did an amazing job in creating a piece that was not only functional and beautiful, but matched the existing furniture very nicely. With each purchase, Rod has handled our requests very professionally and has been generous with his time in working with us to make sure he captured every detail. All in all, we have been extremely pleased with the great quality and would highly recommend Rod Geitgey's Amish Country Furnishings to anyone looking for furniture or custom pieces. Geitgey's Amish Furnishings built a custom bookcase for my family room. They used the measurements and pictures that I had taken and built the perfect bookcase for my family room. The bookcase was finished before the original date. The staff was very professional and even explained how they could make the case stronger and more efficient for me.

We had a beautiful wall unit designed and built by Geitgey's for our 23' high living room wall. The cabinets are of rustic quarter sawn white oak and the top of the base cabinets, a 1 1/2" thick rough sawn timber of rustic wormy maple. We are extremely happy with the wood, the craftsmanship and the overall functionality of the pieces well as the installation. Everything was done to perfection. 4" copper tile will be installed on the wall separating the top and bottom. Rod Geitgey was very patient and helpful to ensure it was what we were looking for. My wife and I are extremely satisfied with the library/bookcase custom designed and built by Amish Country Furnishings. Rod Geitgey, owner, was very courteous and professional to work with and he delivered on all of his promises. We were kept informed of the build process and estimated delivery window through the construction phase. The piece was completed and delivered ahead of the promised delivery date. The furniture was delivered using a contractor that was procured, on our behalf, by Amish Country Furnishings. The delivery charges were very reasonable, and the furniture movers used the highest possible level of care in moving the multiple 8 foot tall units within a tight space. The quality of craftmanship displayed on this piece is spectacular and we will always consider Amish Country Furnishings as our primary supplier of finely crafted furniture. We could not have made a better choice.

When we moved to our house in 2006, we began to envision a dream of putting built-in cabinets in our family room to surround our fireplace. With three young boys, we needed space for toys, games, books etc. We spent a long time planning a concept. Finally, in 2012 we decided to start getting quotes and see if our vision could be created in the space we had. We took our pictures from the internet and some of our own touches to Rod at Geitgey's Amish Country Furnishings. He walked us through our concept and provided excellent insight, as we had a very large area to cover and some grand ideas. He provided a comprehensive and detailed quote within our budget. We had measurements taken to ensure accuracy and install plan. The cabinets were delivered and installed exactly as expected. The skill and attention to detail provided by our installation profesional was beyond our expectations. I continue to marvel at how they turned-out. They are exactly what we dreamed could be in that space. They are functional and solid. Now we enjoy compliments from family and friends! We liked the cabinets so much we also purchased a matching entertainment cabinet for that room and are making plans to eventually upgrade our family dining table. I would highly recommend this company.
