Since 1959, Riggs Construction and Design has developed a tradition of outstanding service and client satisfaction. We are a full service design/remodeling firm that begins with your first inquiry and continues until the end of your project and beyond. We are committed to the highest quality of design and craftsmanship in our work, be it a bath remodel or a whole house renovation with multiple additions. Our experience and teamwork has brought clients back to us time and time again. In 1959, Bill and Helen Riggs set out to create a construction company that would provide the best carpentry services with the finest craftsmen in St. Louis. That dream became Riggs Construction Company, a firm that began with a focus on home remodeling and expanded into carpentry subcontracting to the homebuilding industry and commercial general contractors. Bill and Helen’s son, Tom, and their daughter Pam grew up in the business. In 1981 when they were ready to hand over the reins of the company, they knew Riggs Construction would be in good hands with Tom managing day-to-day operations and Pam leading office management and accounting. Tom bought the business in 1985 and transformed the company into Riggs Construction & Design, a full service, design-build firm. Today, Tom’s children Amie Riggs and her brother Bill are the third generation of the family to lead the business after purchasing the company in 2011. They remain committed to living out their grandfather’s vision and embrace the values he held dear – values that allowed him to establish a reputation for uncompromising excellence, and a reputation that remains today.
