Every piece of furniture Robert Seliger produces is a treasured family heirloom. Our family owns a complete bedroom set with a huge matching chest of drawers. We are continually impressed by the workmanship, functionality, and beauty. Other cherished original pieces include a fabulous desk, assorted chairs and stools. Really, what Robert produces is "functional fine art".

I saw this gorgeous table in Cowboys & Indians magazine several years ago. Since I was updating my living room to a very western style, this table would be the crowning touch. Finally, after all the other new furniture was in place, I decided this table just had to be there too. I placed the order with Robert Seliger, a master craftsman located in Bend, Oregon. From the first contact, Robert was clear, thorough and completely accommodating. He even adjusted the price a little bit. He sent me drawings, stain samples and pictures to update me as the custom built piece progressed. He was delightful and informative, reassuring me that the table was on its way. He went out of his way to customize the drawers in the table to hold CDs and added special CD racks to ensure their clean and safe storage. Then, much to my surprise, he had his assistant drive the table from Bend, Oregon to my home in the Oakland, California hills, door to door, personal delivery and hand-carry service! The table is now happily sitting where it always belonged, among pictures of bison, charging Sioux warriors and bold western geometric prints. It is truly a work of art and I will treasure it always. Thank you, Robert, for your outstanding and over-the-top service.

I engaged Robert Seliger to make 3 pieces of furniture for the Master Bedroom in my newly constructed home. It was a completely enjoyable experience developing the designs with him as well as selecting finishes and hardware. He was very helpful in providing samples and more importantly in his generosity of his time, advice and expertise. I now have his beautiful artwork in my home that is useful and functional. While Robert is low key, his passion is expressed through his work in wood. I would recommend him without reservation.

I had been searching for a small curved writing desk for many years and found Robert's Jade writing desk via an internet search. He responded promptly to my inquiry and was willing to modify the size of the desk to meet my needs. He was very responsive and flexible, provided several drawings before we settled on the dimensions that would work best in my room while still being functional. Also had great suggestions on the finish, and on an accompanying chair. The finished piece is stunning in both design and workmanship! It is a tribute to Robert that the whole process was done via internet and an occasional phone call. He is thorough and prompt, meticulous in detail in both his workmanship and business dealings.

Robert Seliger Custom Fine Furniture exceeds our expectations. Robert Seliger himself is not only an artisan but truly an artist. He has mastered design & balance, and he understands the engineering complexities of building furniture from all types of wood. Robert Seliger has great resources for beautiful exotic woods if you are so inclined. My husband and I have been working with him since Nov. of 2013. Although we originally were requesting a dining table and chairs, we have been so impressed that we have continued replacing much of our furniture with his work. His has graced our home with a gorgeous altar table in our entry; a beautiful dining room table w 10 chairs & a hutch in our dining room; a fabulous sofa-back table & end table in our main room; a grand bed with night tables & bench in our master and a lovely desk w/chair in our guest room. We are currently awaiting delivery of a game table with 4 chairs. After that, we are considering an amazing coffee table that he has designed, along with a dresser for the master. We consider it an honor to own some of his signature pieces and feel we are purchasing works of art. We are not affiliated with him in way other than hiring his company.

We needed a sideboard to go under a beautiful Tom Gilleon tepee painting. Saw an indian themed "war vest" sofa table by Robert Seliger in a Bozeman Art Gallery, called Robert and he agreed to do a custom sideboard of the same design concept. He worked closely with us on dimensions, wood, colors to match painting and look. It was done on time and on budget, custom packed and delivered to us unblemished in Bozeman. It is a beautiful piece!

Robert made a customized 90" round table and 10 chairs for us out of Knotty Alder for our new home. The work he does can not be compared to anyone else's . He is a true craftsman and professional taking care of every detail. Love my new and chairs. We are thinking we would like him to do our bar stools next.

Robert made two lovely tables for me before we had him make a bedroom set , a dining set and two more tables for our new home. From start to finish the project was a pleasure. Robert is so easy to work with. He listened carefully to what I wanted, provided drawings for approval and supplied samples for the finish. Best of all, everything was completed on time!
