We LOVE our new kitchen and we owe all our gratitude to Roshan and his terrific team! My wife and I purchased our home in Orinda back in 2013... but it always felt like someone else's home. We had long planned (more like the wife had long planned) to do a kitchen renovation, but we wanted to be absolutely sure about the look + feel. So after a few years of preparation... measure twice and cut once, right??? ... we were ready to go. Now we just needed to find the right team for the job. Thankfully, we hired Roshan. Roshan worked with us to understand the vision we had for our kitchen. He always made us feel like we were his top priority, and he showed tremendous willingness and patience to help us create OUR kitchen. And there might have been a few times where we decided to make a few revisions in the middle of the project. Instead of making us feel bad about the change of plans, he did his best to work with us and refine our thoughts into the best finished product. For example, we made a few significant changes to our island. Roshan leaned on is depth of experience and fashioned a custom solution to create a gorgeous island that is built to last. We couldn't imagine working with anyone else! Thank you!

I recently had a bathroom remodeled by Alive Design and Construction and could not be happier with the results. Roshan's crew came every day promptly and worked all day. They were very considerate, trustworthy and careful to keep the construction mess to a minimum. The tile work was perfection and the plumbing challenges were addressed brilliantly. The results were amazing and the price was fair. Thank you Roshan for taking on my project!

Roshan performed a fairly complicated job for us, involving a below sewer level pump installation, a new bathroom, and complete renovation of a lower level guest suite. We interviewed several different contractors and he was by far the one that we felt had the skills and commitment to undertake the job. He worked very closely with us during the whole process, and was always positive and willing to reroute, add or change details as the guest suite matured. Most of all, I found Roshan highly skilled, conscientious and intelligent, one of the top contractors we have ever employed. I give him my highest recommendation.

I was so discouraged on my search for a remodeling contractor that in the last ditch effort I put a request into our neighborhood social network NextDoor asking neighbors to recommend someone they worked with who was on time, on budget and took pride in his work. I really lucked out when Roshan was recommended. From the minute we first met my hisband and I knew he was a gem: dependable, knowledgeable, meticulous, organized, flexible and always positive. His initial estimate was a beautiful document with all the clear details of materials and work costs. Once he and his crew started working we were even more impressed. Every afternoon when my husband would come home from work he was astounded by the fast progress of our remodel. The crew would show up on time every morning and worked late to finish up. They came in on Saturdays and always vacuumed and cleaned up everything before they left for the day. I felt like a girl freshly in love, walking around, telling everyone about the amazing contractor that was transforming my house with a minimum of disturbance and stress. Because of fast progress and excellent work we expanded our project and ended up with new bathroom and laundry room, remodelled bathroom and remodelled kitchen. As I wanted to be closely involved with materials and design, Roshan took the time to help guide me in my decisions and choices and after I choose my favorite materials found ways to get them cheaper from his sources and passed the savings on to us! I have recommended him to many of my friends and neighbors. I saw a fantastic basement apartment he constructed at my neighbor's house. Because of his high (college) level engineering education and great practical skills he can come up with solutions to challenging problems that are also economical.

Roshan is the BEST! We have used him for work on both of our houses in the last 7 years starting in 2009. We have had used his services for small projects to big ones, inside major construction and outdoor landscape. We trust him so much we would even give him the keys to our house while under construction!
