Southern Hardwood

Southern Hardwood refinished our floors that hadn’t been touched in 24 years! They had turned an amber/orange color and really dated our home. Their crew was professional, informative, and friendly. We feel like we are in a new house!

SO GRATEFUL! Southern Hardwood SAVED my damaged floor. A few years of renters and my house's front foyer and sitting room was nearly destroyed... turns out it was an engineered hardwood which most professionals told us was IMPOSSIBLE to restore. But James with Southern Hardwood SUCCESSFULLY did it, saving me THOUSANDS $$$ from having the glued-down planks from being ripped up, thrown away, and new wood being installed. I'm SO HAPPY that it was a much "greener" [eco-friendly] way of remediating the renters' damage, by meticulously sanding and refinishing the exiting hardwood veneer. He didn't even know that my family also owns 4 other properties in this area... I'll definitely be working with him again.

Southern Hardwood refinished my wood floors and I am extremely happy with the outcome. They completed the work as promised including timing, quality, and clean up. James stated that each morning he would begin at 8am and he was there 10 minutes early each day and finished up exactly when he said he would. He promised there would be very little dust after the sanding phase (to which everyone I told said that was unlikely). To my surprise, there actually was VERY little dust. We left all our furniture and electronics out in the area between two rooms being refinished, and there was a minimal amount of clean up required after the sanding. The finished product is beautiful. I can't stop staring at them and have received many compliments. I have already given Southern Hardwood my highest recommendation to several friends and will continue to do so.
