Tharinda Dissanayake offers an individual uni-disciplinary architectural service, registered under the Sri Lanka Institute of Architects Act of Sri Lanka. The firm, began in 2014, is a fully fledged architectural practice offering a range of specialized consultancy services: Architectural Planning, Green Building Design, Landscaping, Interior and Furniture Design, Cost Consultancy, Project Management, Building Information Modelling (BIM) Services, etc. Architect Tharinda Dissanayake obtained an honors degree in Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Moratuwa. He became a professional member of the Sri Lanka Institute of Architects and the Green Building Council of Sri Lanka. Understanding the world technological advancements in the construction field, he further had a keen interest on Building Information Modelling systems, and obtained his professional certification from Autodesk for Revit Architecture and BIM systems. The architect values more on low carbon footprint designs while promoting building strategies that suits our local climatic condition, i.e. tropical climate. Architect Tharinda Dissanayake had contributed his knowledge extensively under several private and government institutions. He served as an Architect for the Aerocity Development Project under Ministry of Urban Development, water supply and housing facilities (Previously known as Ministry of Megapolis and Western Development). The architect has further engaged on the professional development of the architect community of Sri Lanka, through the Sri Lanka Institute of Architects and Architectural education. Niwarthana Dissanayake, an experienced interior designer, who also obtained an honors degree in Bachelor of Design from University of Moratuwa serves as the co-director of the firm. She has specialized knowledge on commercial and residential interiors and has an extensive knowledge about customized furniture and materials. Her services have been extensively utilized by well-known Interior design companies The firm strongly believes professional and timely service while providing maximum satisfaction to its client.
