Branches of an Almond Tree in Blossom Ruby Red is a handcrafted reimagining of Vincent Van Goghs timeless original Branches of an Almond Tree in Blossom. Luxury brand La Pastiche seeks out todays most skilled artists and finest materials to produce stunning tributes to creative masters. Each unique - and entirely exclusive - oil painting reinterprets and embellishes the original with fresh colors andor metallic accents. Granting unprecedented flexibility and brilliance La Pastiche artwork is an exciting and sophisticated choice for the discerning decorator. Our focus has always been on creating inspiring new options of the utmost quality that remain true to the spirit of the original artist. Made in 1890 Van Goghs original was done in celebration of his nephews birth. Given as a gift to his brother Theo the couple hung it above their piano with great pride. It is but one in a prolific series he made of this subject matter during an uncharacteristically sustained period of optimism invigoration and relentless creation. In a more liberated style than that of his years in Paris his striking colors and natural subjects reveal the influences of both Impressionist artwork and Japanese woodblock prints. On a later date, Su Dongpo transcribed a finalized version of the text as calligraphy onto this handscroll. He wrote the characters in a semi-cursive script, but it varies considerably in thickness, distance, and size. Characters that particularly stand out include nian (年) in the second line, zhong (中) in the fifth line, wei (葦) in the eleventh line, and zhi (紙) in the thirteenth line, in which their last vertical stroke trails down for some distance.

Gu Yunrui is a famous Chinese artist. Nowadays, although the instrumentality of the writing of soft-pen Chinese characters has basically disappeared, the number of people who have cultivated morality in the process of writing soft-pen Chinese characters has increased day by day. There are also those who have surpassed the "six dusts" and continue to explore in the development of Chinese calligraphy. The fertile culture of the East is nourishing, so that Chinese calligraphy continues its endless, infinite evolution. Gu's Ink-Painted-Chinese-Character artwork, amidst the drenching and sometimes chaotic interchange of water and ink, enables us to experience the roots of the oriental culture, and the heart of nature.
