The Luxembourg Collection began in the Luxembourg Gardens in Paris, France. The Original steel green chairs have been in the Gardens since the 1930's. The French Senate requested for Fermob to begin producing the chairs for the Gardens. Fermob was given permission to also produce their own version of the chair.
These chairs are now available from Fermob in aluminum (making them light weight and rust proof), 23 colors, and few modifications making them a bit more comfortable!
