This six-inch IC rated remodel housing is suitable for residential and commercial applications and for direct contact with insulation. The airtight housing limits the exchange of air between ceiling plenum and heated/cooled areas. Integral thermal guards protect against improper lamping and with lamp wattage ratings and apertures based off trim selection. The housing adjusts from 1/2" to 1 1/2" to accommodate ceiling thickness and its 7 1/2" height allow it to be used in 2"x8" joist construction.

- Aluminum construction provides greater heat dissipation.
- Washington State Energy Code approved to meet restricted airflow requirements.
