Comes with a black damper that you are able to control through the faceplate using a flat-head screw driver. Be sure you use a cloth around the screw driver to help prevent scratching the faceplate. These registers are manufactured in the United States by Steel Crest with an 18 gauge steel. Please note, these are NOT intended for floor use (only for wall or ceiling use). To mount on your wall or ceiling, use the matching screws included in the screw holes on the faceplate.
