The rough and tumble Townsend collection is crafted from solid hardwood, featuring naturally roughhewn planks with heavy saw marks, pitting and wane. A 9-step finish uses glaze to highlight wood grain and a light wash to simulate the patina of age. Shallow top drawers are perfect for storing delicate items with the map drawer effect repeated with faux parting rails on large lower drawers.- All solid wood construction from kiln dried sengon tekik wood
- Distressing comes naturally from the milling process and intrinsic features of the timber
- Proprietary finishing process uses dark glaze to highlight the wood grain and a light wash to simulate the patina of age
- Features 4 large under-bed storage drawers, each measuring 7 x 27 x 17; Full extension, ball bearing drawer slides for smooth, efficient operation and ample weight capacity, Durable, 5 sided hardwood plywood drawer box with english dovetail joinery
