Michael designed my house in Breckenridge, CO. Though I had been through two extensive remodeling jobs, I had never built a house from the ground up. Michael made it easy for me. It was a true partnership between Michael, my builder and me. And not only do I love the house, as soon as it was finished, it won two awards in the annual parade of homes.

About 10 years ago my wife and I required a clever Architect to take a sloping lot that nobody else wanted in Breckenridge and design a display home for our construction company with specific requirements, privacy from the street, capture the most passive solar gain possible, maximum sound attenuation to the adjoining highway, large storage area above the double garage and absolutely no wasted space in the design as construction costs here at 9,600ft are expensive to say the least. The plan was to live in the display home for a few years, sell and design the next one, well here we are in 2015 still living in the same house, not only has the house design won us so many new construction opportunities but my wife refuses to leave this house that she so loves. Michael was engaged to design a 6,000+ square foot custom Colorado mountain home, as well as provide consultation on home site evaluation and selection. Michael was a delight to work with and knowledgeable in all aspects of architectural design as well as finishes, electrical, HVAC, superinsulation and cold roofs, alternative energy and environmental factors, as well as navigating HOA and Town of Breckenridge requirements. Michael is very attentive to project schedules and budgets and provided project input consistently throughout construction. We are often asked "What would you change about the home if you could?" and we answer "Not a thing." We love our home, as did the Summit County Realtors who voted it "Realtor's Choice" in the 2011 Summit County Parade of Homes. Michael was also named winner in Exterior Design and Elevation, Kitchen, and Master Bedroom Suite. The home also was awarded winner in Interior Finishes, Interior Furnishings, and Builder Concept & Workmanship.
