We loved working with Remake Architecture for our South Evanston home renovation. Sylvia showed enthusiasm and care for our little house and made the entire experience accessible and positive. She used creative solutions to design an efficient, organized space that reflects our family and brings us joy every day. Thanks to Remake, we revived a 130-year-old house and have fond memories of the process.

We had a terrific experience in working with Sylvia and Remake Architecture. Our project included finishing a 1/2 basement, the construction of a new office space on our second-floor rental, and a minor modification to a room on our second-floor rental. The basement involved design considerations for relocating a laundry space, working around existing mechanical, and installing a small toilet/shower area - all while trying to maximize the basement for additional living space. The second floor office involved enclosing a portion of our back stairwell and creating a useable area for either an office, small nursery or even a possible eating nook. We are very pleased with the results. Sylvia was patient and flexible in providing a variety of creative options to accommodate our space needs. She helped us think though the best use of space, the flow of space and the versatility of the space as our family needs may change.
