The absolute BEST in the industry. They caught mistakes on the architectural plans, creatively solved unexpected issues when they came up, consistently came in on time and in budget and left the house immaculate when they were done. We renovated rooms 20 years after they were built and after they were done, you could not tell that work was done as everything matched perfectly. Their work is solid and they are 100% dependable. My only hesitation in leaving this review is that everyone will use them and then they will be too busy for our next project. :) We have used them on two projects already and wouldn’t use anyone else. You will not regret hiring them. They do impeccable work.

Excellent job. They finished the job on time and within budget. They have painted the interior of my home and they just finished power washing my roof and treating it for the winter. I will use them again and I highly recommend them.

We were fortunate to work with Erno Bacso and his company, HSL, on a major renovation of our home including expanding the kitchen into adjacent rooms & installing a second floor deck. We are pleased with his work and with the results. Erno and his subcontractors do high quality work and care very much about satisfying their client while staying on budget. His subcontractors (such as carpenters, cabinetmakers, and painters) are friendly, decent people who were serious about the work and were a pleasure to have at our house. Now that the job is done, we miss them! Some of our work was quite challenging as we created a modern space in an 1867 farmhouse, and Erno and his team were creative and resourceful in giving us the sort of space, finishes, and feel we wanted. One night during the project a large and complicated mirror began to separate from the wall in our daughter’s bedroom. We feared we would have a shattered mirror and 7 years of bad luck. We called Erno for advice. Even though this was not related to his project, it was our good luck that Erno drove over immediately with his toolkit. He propped up the mirror and then had his carpenters visit the next day to secure it permanently and properly. Erno was not on the clock when he did this: it was just part of his high work ethic and commitment to serving his clients. An engineer by training, Erno strikes us as being on the forefront of using technology to track his projects and billings. His bills are clear and he is able to give clear answers about production schedules, past payments, change orders and future costs. We recommend Erno and his company HSL highly for their work, their conscientiousness and their integrity.
