My husband and I spent many hours discussing kitchen cabinet design and build with Craig. He was very patient and answered all our questions. Craig came up with an ingenious solution to our issue for space for charging electronic devices and the cabinet adds so much character to our space. A cabinet door was shown to us to make sure the color was what we wanted and then a finished base cabinet. Craig was meticulous in making sure we were satisfied with the cabinets and bead board island. He sent his crew out 2 times to fix issues that we had called about. The finished result blows us away every time we view the kitchen. We had a very good experience using Craig and highly recommend his services. Thank you, Craig!

We purchased a home and gutted the kitchen, among other remodeling work. Our favorite spot in the house is the kitchen, and that's probably where we spend the most time. We wanted it done right, and we chose Kitchens by Craig based on their sterling reputation. We could not have been happier with that decision. Kitchens by Craig created a terrific design for the kitchen remodel and were just about ready to start when another contractor involved in the home remodel required an almost complete rewrite of the kitchen plan. Craig calmly and promptly revised the plan in a way that worked with other elements of the overall remodel without additional charge. My wife liked the new plan better than the original plan. The installation of the kitchen cabinets and banco happened on time and without any budget surprises. The quality of workmanship was outstanding. Craig even added a few upgrade surprises in the final product that were just right. Except for those happy surprises, there were no surprises at all - timing, budget, and quality were all delivered as promised. Craig and his crew were always flexible and creative, and they did a great job of clean-up. And we simply love the kitchen. Of all the various people we worked on in connection with our major house remodel, Craig's work was the best, and he was the ultimate low-key but precise professional to work with. We recommend him unconditionally.

I live in New York and had Craig build for us an entertainment center and a chest for a family heirloom. What I received was way beyond our expectations and was true craftsmanship. Fit and finish was flawless and everything was well packed with no problems having traveled 2000 miles. We hope to have our kitchen done next someday and would not trust anyone but Craig to build the cabinets. Craig did a fabulous job. He helped us design the cabinets, pick the wood and stain, recommend unique lignting and special features, and installation. He was also very pateint with and receptive to changes and working through emerging ideas. We live in Connecticut but used Craig in Albuquerque because we are familiar with work. Craig and I sat in the room we remodeled and drew plans, discusssed alternatives, and worked out some great custom features. We included his and her desks, an entertainment center, three closets, a sewing center, carved posts and really cool crown molding and base boards. Craig built and pre-assembled the project in his shop in Albuquerque then arranged shipping to Connecticut. The installation went really well because Craig had packed several spare parts and trim pieces to give the installers options when working around heating, windows, doors, and lighting. Highly recommend Craig for high quality cabinets and complex jobs. I'm confident that he can build to any cabinet requirement.

Kitchens by Craig recently installed a complete new kitchen in a townhouse I rehabilitated in Albuquerque. My experience with this company was from design comcesption to final installation, one of the best experiences I have had in construction. All the work was done while I lived two hundred miles away with infrequent visits to the prroject. Everything was competed on time and within the budget we had set...and Craig was able to suggest and complete some improvements during construction that I had not thought of and which were most appreciated. I would not hesitate to recommend this firm to anyone contemplating a new home or a redesign of an existing kitchen.

I hired Kitchens by Craig to redesign and build custom cabinets for a complete remodel of a 25 year old home. The kitchen was problematic due to the original floor plan of the home and the inability to increase the size. As a real estate professional I have seen several hundred kitchens over the years and chose Craig to tackle this project because of his unique talent for design and craftsmanship. Craig provided a stunning end result which greatly increased the storage space in the kitchen without increasing the square footage one inch. A few years later, we built a home in a Colorado mountain community. The builder wanted to use local contractors for the kitchen and baths. After visiting with several of the local professionals and viewing their work, I contacted Craig to inquire about taking on the job. Once again, his creativity, use of space, and quality of finish exceeded the local standards, and the expectation of the builder. Both homes sold in record time for top dollar largely due to the exquisite craftsmanship and design of the kitchens and baths. We are on the verge of yet another kitchen remodel in our new home and Craig is hands down our kitchen designer of choice!

I am nearing completion of a major remodel of my kitchen and several bathrooms. The project included the usual budgetary constraints as well as design challenges. Kitchens by Craig met and overcame every difficulty with creativity and respect for my budget. Perhaps the most challenging design aspect was the necessity of building a pantry in a space that also contains the entrance to the mechanical closet. Craig designed a spacious pantry with pull-out shelves that is on wheels and rotates out so that the mechanical closet behind it is accessible. It is a marvel and so convenient! The project also called for coordination with many other professionals including plumbers, electricians, wood flooring installers and painters with whom Craig worked in a friendly, patient and cooperative manner.

From the beginning, I was very pleased with choosing "Kitchens by Craig" for my complete kitchen remodel. Craig was professional, listened to what I wanted and followed through when the plumbers (not hired by him) made a mistake and the dimensions had to be reworked. I wanted mainly lower drawers throughout (including adjustable Dish Drawers), a few upper cabinets in "Seeded" Glass, two different types of Lazy Susan cabinets and LOVE how it all works ! Craig stayed in contact throughout the process and provided me with clear, concise plans online, so we could send changes back and forth as necessary. I would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone considering any work on their kitchen. My contractor had recommended someone else who never listened to my ideas, was often late for appointments and luckily, before I hired that designer, I saw a card for "Kitchens by Craig" and contacted him. Craig offered beautiful custom cabinets, where I had been considering prefab cabinets at a higher cost with the other designer. Hiring "Kitchens by Craig" was the best decision I could have made !

We did a bathroom project with Craig. The cabinets are marvelous in the way they look and feel. He was patient with us as we stopped and started the project. He was complete when he said he would be. I wish all of the contractors would have been so on it. He is a great advisor and craftsman...

He does more than Kitchens. He made some beautiful bookcases for my living area that matched perfectly with the other woodwork in the room. As usual, Craig's finished product was better than I even expected. I've had numerous projects done by Craig over many years and his personal touch is a part of each well done product. If 'lowest-priced' and 'adequate' are part of your specifications, he probably won't be your first choice. But quality, fair price and integrity are what you'll get from this excellent contractor/supplier.
