In 1994, Starr Systems Design was founded to serve the residential audio and video installation market in the Baltimore/Washington metro area. Today, Starr Systems can help you design and install custom media rooms, whole-house music systems, and complete home control systems including lighting, motorized shading, and temperature control, as well as security, surveillance, energy management, and electrical systems.

A little like hiring the Marx Brothers to do your AV. They try hard. Very nice people. But have no idea what they are doing. Their scope of work included the wi-fi , TV and Phone cabling along with programmable Lutron switches. Starr came back 4 times after the initial 6 day install and the bedroom TV still does not work. Need iphone to control TV sound? Really?

Starr Systems designed our entire media and lighting system. We are using a Lutron system which can be controlled from our phones and ipads. They will integrate all of the systems in the house from HVAC, to lighting to sound/tv.
