“I hired Mike to remove a wall at the top of my stairway and replace it with a railing to match the one on an upper floor. The work was done professionally and cleanly. He remainind in communication with me throughout the project and allowed me to perform some of the demolition in order to work within my budget. My wife and I are very pleased with the results and intend to hire Boyle Finish Carpenters for a few other projects we are planning.”

“Sebastian and his team helped work through the design phase and then did fantastic work! Excellent communication, diligent work and wonderful outcome. We took some pictures from Houzz and modified them to work in my house. The work included crown molding, decorative trim on foyer walls and a new fireplace surround. Also had his painters paint some rooms - they were excellent as well. They worked quickly and neatly. Overall the team was punctual, tidy and respectful of our family. Loved having them around and will definitely work with them again.”

“Before Richard Aitkens was hired, I experienced contractors who did not show up for appointments, those who did failed to provide an estimate within a reasonable time period or at all and who took on multiple projects resulting that they couldn't meet their obligations. Richard Aitken the owner of this company is personally involved in all projects. This past year this contractor raised my house, built new decks, windows and doors. This project involved coordinating various contractors, permits amidst multiple changes with building codes and FEMA flood maps. When I contracted with Aitken I was promised that I would be back into the house by Memorial Day. This contractor had crews on this project daily including weekends to meet this promise. The workmanship is of quality, the staff both in office and on projects are great and knowledgable. Their insurance coordinator was terrific and was able to reopen my claim and negotiate to get covered items reimbursed. This contractor also has house management services for winter coverage as well as smaller projects that occur year round. The only negative is that Richard Aitken Builders/Contractors do not take on work in NY, where my primary residence is located.”

“My husband and I hired Kevin to remodel our railing and balusters in our home. Kevin was absolutely amazing to work with from start to finish. Our design consultation with him was better than any other contractor we had met with. Kevin thoroughly listened to the ideas my husband and I had, and gave us designs that were beyond perfect! Kevin was able to build our railing, stain everything, and install the iron balusters in a few days. Many other contractors we met with quoted us OVER a week JUST for the installation, AND we were not as confident in their workmanship as we were (and now ARE!!) with Kevin's. The experience Kevin has truly shows in his work. We cannot thank him enough for the amazing railing we now have. We constantly receive compliments on how great it is, and it makes our home stand out in the best way. Thank you again Kevin!!!”
