We are lucky and grateful we hired Carmine Carapella AIA as an architect for our addition of an entire new 2d floor + some significant remodeling on the existing main floor. Carmine Carapella, founder of Carapella Architecture is a person of integrity with impeccable taste and sound design ideas. He is a top notch professional and a joy to work with. He transformed our ordinary 1978 builder spec home into the house we’ve always wanted. He created space for a new master suite and laundry room on the second floor by extending the existing roof line. He developed a 1st floor plan with a strong axis of symmetry and opened up beautiful views of our backyard. He added a sunroom for additional light and removed the ceiling from the family room to create a breathtaking 2-story great room. His vision for our remodeled house has exceeded our wildest dreams. I would not recommend doing a project of this scope without an architect and as far as firms go Carapella Architecture gets 5 stars!
