EAC Designs

I worked with Erica to renovate my kitchen and two bathrooms. I began with the vaguest of ideas and ended with rooms I still have to pinch myself to believe they are actually mine. Erica has a keen eye for style and design, even in the most unique of spaces. She helped me develop unique solutions and designs for each room, gently guiding and never imposing. She also patiently listened as I agonized over mirror sizes, tile colors, etc. and never gave up until we found the perfect fit. Working with Erica is like working with an extremely talented, patient, and knowledgeable friend. She gets just as excited about your home as you do and is always available to go over ideas. She also oversaw the actual construction, which was seamless, accident-less, and extremely clean. I dreaded having to live in a construction zone for a few weeks but it was incredibly organized and our space and home were completely respected. The moment our job was finished, I wanted to work with Erica on more ideas. I am extremely happy to have someone I know I can call if/when I want to do anything further to our home. She is a total joy to work with.

Erica is talented, creative, detail-oriented and extremely professional. She has a great eye and stays on top of the latest styles and trends. It was a pleasure working with her on several projects - She always works within timing and budget constraints and will not stop until the client is completely satisfied! Erica Alvarez is a designer with a wonderful eye who balances the desire for a beautiful room with practical knowledge of what works and what doesn't. I worked with Erica recently to redesign my outdated 80's kitchen in my brownstone city apartment. Over several months, she helped me develop and refine my design ideas for the kitchen, not imposing her own taste, but guiding me to some braver choices than I might have made on my own. Best of all, when it came time to actually install the kitchen, she did a great job of finding the best companies to do the job and overseeing them so that everything went very smoothly! With her meticulous planning and attention to detail, the entire install took only three weeks from start to finish, just as planned. Lastly, Erica also is simply great to work with on a human level. She gets just as excited about your project as you do. I am now working further with her to rethink my living room and other areas. Highly Recommended!!

Erica is extremely creative and innovative with her ideas but critically tasteful where other modern designers are sometimes lacking. Beyond her talents/eye as a designer she is a delight to work with, extremely polite and punctual.
