Mark Brooklyn Design

I would highly recommend Mark Brooklyn for any remodel, new home or custom home architectural work. Mark is very comfortable to work with, professional and diligent. During construction I decided to change the exterior architectural character of my building from a Tuscan style to a modern Craftsman style. Mark and I enjoyed developing the new exterior character and I'm real happy with the results.

We designed a 5,500 SF modern new-build in Newport Beach, CA and needed 3D renderings to edit and finalize the exterior envelope and finishes. Given the large investment in the property, it was essential that we didn't overlook any essential details in the 2D design phase, before proceeding to full and final construction plans. Mark Brooklyn Design was engaged to produce a 3D computer model of the house exterior and its placement on the property so that we could view it from different angles and various elevations. We met with MBD to provide direction for the project and were impressed with their capabilities and design/architectural sense from the start. They listened carefully to our project requirements, provided valuable input regarding areas where we could enhance exterior design, and provided a very accurate, dynamically viewable 3D rendering of the project. During the final phase of the project, we met with MBD and our architect to view a 3D, computer projection of the project that quickly and clearly identified areas requiring further refinement. These included window sizes and placement, exterior finishes and architectural accents. Just as important, MBD provided new design ideas that added greatly to the overall design aesthetic. MBD was prompt, thorough, insightful, technically astute and provided solid value from project start to end. We highly recommend their services to any person undertaking a high value project that needs to be edited and optimized, at a low relative cost, prior to finalizing the design phase and before committing to final construction plans.

Mark does an amazing job with his 3D presentations. He recently completed a project for me that required interior 3D views for a remodel. The owner had problems with standard 2D design and with Marks help we were able to present the design with the owner understanding what we were proposing and ultimately approving the design.
