Eight months late on my home. Had revolving door on who worked on my home. The engineering work they used took months. Mistakes with HVAC and terribly managed. Love the design work but cannot recommend. 100k design and not happy at all. Very sorry to say.

I have worked with Steven Jallad of MHK Architecture on many Colorado custom home projects. Although most of our projects have taken place in a long distance business relationship, I could not ask for a situation that could work any better. My building company is located in Telluride, Colorado and I am very excited to see MHK expanding into the area. As the director of residential design, Steven Jallad has such a good eye for proportions and being able to integrate all the needs of our clients. The work we have created together is simply stunning. I look forward to future collaborations with MHK Architecture, they are an impressive company with a great group of designers.

Mitch Lehde of MHK Architecture provided me with professional assistance in modifying a plan for my home that needed substantial revision to suit my needs. He not only incorporated all of my "wish list" hopes and dreams to make my home perfect for me, but also made design suggestions that complimented the style of the home and my personal taste. He is a perfectionist in every minute detail and I could not be more pleased with his design plans and the result he created. He also went above and beyond in helping me resolve some construction issues, long after he had created the architectural plans for me. He is a pleasure to work with, patient, kind, understanding, and unbelievably intuitive. I would highly, highly recommend him!!

Mitch Lehde was the architect who designed our dream retirement home. The home was completed in 2012 with a project cost of over $2,500.000. Mitch's ability to translate our ideas into a stunning home were unparalleled. His involvement in the project from conceptualization to completion was critical to our building process, especially since we were building in South Carolina but still living in Wisconsin. I can recommend him unconditionally and would not hesitate to use him again. In building 7 homes during our lifetime, his expertise and guidance made this last building experience the best.

We worked in close collaboration with Mitch Lehde to design and manage construction of this lake house designed to evoke a renovated mountain lodge. Mitch was very flexible and responsive in incorporating found repurposed materials and natural materials which included locust logs for the deck and porch posts, poplar bark siding and mountain laurel for railings and accents. He also collaborated with our builder to build this house which was awarded the SC Home Builders Assn. Pinnacle Award and was featured in the Summer 2015 At Home magazine. MHK (or Mitch) who we worked with, really listens to the client, which can be rare in this field sometimes. But that ability really gives him a fantastic general feel for what the customer is looking for. So instead of forcing the architect's view onto the customer, he asks questions, listens well and then provides endless helpful suggestions/ideas to make the finish project even better than the client imagined!
