The firm was founded in 1988, by its principal architect, Juan Carlos Ochoa. Mr. Ochoa received his degree in Architecture from the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC), Mexico in 1982, and is a frequent guest speaker at his alma mater in topics of architecture and professional practice. Ochoa Design Associates is a mid-size, multi-disciplinary, and quality oriented based firm in the City of Palm Desert, California. To date, the firm has been commissioned to provide their expertise and wide-range of experience for a vast array of projects, ranging from the very modest of budgets, to very complex and lavish designs in a variety of architectural languages, providing Architectural Services for high-end residential, commercial, hospitality, civic, and industrial designs, (with realized projects in the Coachella Valley Area, Southern California, Colorado and Mexico) Currently, the firm is working on a variety of residential, commercial, and hospitality projects throughout Southern California and Oregon.
