I would not recommend for so many reasons and I'm not going to list them all here. I was interested in an exploratory approach with an hourly rate that was agreed upon by a designer who was not with Ogle Design at the time and was hired by William during "my project." I was clear with both William and the designer that I wanted some control or at least some communication regarding the number of hours that the different phases of work would take. I submitted a retainer for $5k had a meeting to review plans and so much interior design detail that I wasn't interested in at this phase. Then, right after that meeting I received another bill for $5k. There was no contract and no communication of hours and when I inquired I kept getting the run around (let's schedule a call). Then the designer who initially brought me on as a client, vanished and was terminated. William was very apologetic and wanted to "make it right" since there was poor communication on expectations and even hourly rate (which was different than what I agreed to with the original designer). William "discounted" the project and I paid a total of $8,400. Huge regret. I could go on, but I've wasted enough time and regret on this project.

I found William Ogle on Houzz almost completely by accident! He contacted with me right away, and patiently worked with us while we figure out exactly how we wanted the project to proceed. William and his team took the time to get to know us, our lifestyle and our decor preferences, then skillfully created a dream home out of our 1960's tract home rancher. I love having people walk into our home now as they cannot believe the transformation.

We had a serious situation with the city in which we needed a report generated quickly in order for us to return to our site. Ogle Design really stepped up and was able to meet the tight deadline. Very detailed oriented, asked many questions to get a full scope of our operation, and handled the matter with the city in a professional, timely manner.

I bought a condo in SF and hired Ogle Design to help me with the remodeling. Currently, we're in the middle of the process and I can't be more happy with what I see. William is highly professional, articulate and smart. His schematic designs are gorgeous. He looks at the problem from a wide variety of angles and proposes solutions that balance multiple important factors (daily use-cases, resell value). I fully trust his designer skills and intuition. Sometimes I can't make a decision (I don't always know what I want), and William always comes up with a wise advice that I'm happy to follow. William outlined the whole process in advance marking all necessary milestones, and so far we're ahead of schedule. Also, he is always ready to help me dealing with contractors and building engineers which is a huge relief for me.

I worked with Will Ogle to design a house on very difficult land. Unfortunately we could not proceed with the building due to unexpected problems. However the house design was beautiful and Will was certainly wonderful to work with. I would highly recommend him for his design knowledge, ability to adapt to unusual situations and ease to work with. Would highly recommend without reservation.

This project deals with a historic building in SF North Beach - it's a place with tall ceilings, an atrium but it's dark and gloomy. Overcoming all what the others said William Ogle showed up early and then quickly created a plan to put in skylights and to utterly change the interior all for a decent price. He's positive, quick, without the usual BS and upbeat. My kind of designer/architect!

We hired William Ogle of Ogle Design to help us remodel a 1 1/2 bath 3 bedroom house we just brought. He did a great job! William is the consummate professional. He listened and his design resulted in our getting bids well within the price range we were willing to accept. Construction begins Tuesday and we will no doubt be thrilled with the result, a 3 bedroom, 3 bath home with a media room, wine cellar, home office, laundry room, an enlarged stairwell, and a remodeled kitchen. We cannot say enough good things about William and have absolutely no reservation in recommending him.
