We had many specific design elements in our plan: shelves that could display art and support a load bearing, working library ladder; well-built cabinetry that could easily carry the weight of 2 inch thick concrete counter tops; a solid wood bar to be cut in a boomerang shape from a 5ft x 11 ft walnut slab; stainless posts and brackets to float the walnut bar top; and 30 inch deep cabinets with full-depth drawers for excellent storage space. Every detail was closely supervised by Bonnie Woolsey at MasterCraft. We can't be happier with the end product. MasterCraft created elegant two-tone cherry custom cabinets that perfectly fit our needs. The island is a masterpiece.
