SUPERB, professional service and craftsmanship sets Colorado & Wyoming Granite far about its competitors. Owner Caleb Mesch earned our trust when he acted on our behalf as a concierge to source and negotiate an amazing price for the stunning quartzite stone that we used for our kitchen island, then assured that the 10' slab was safely stored for more than a year while we finished construction on our new home. He diplomatically and very patiently advised us when we made many changing decisions about the shape and cuts and edging we wanted for the island. He then made us an irresistible offer to use a complementary granite for the rest of our kitchen counters instead of the planned laminate. His crew transported the finished stone pieces for 40+ miles over rugged dirt mountain roads to our home far outside the metro area. Finally, his accomplished installers skillfully placed, framed, mounted and glued the beautifully finished pieces for the island and counter tops. Throughout all of this, he and his crew demonstrated the highest level of carefulness, consideration, kindness, professionalism and skill. Caleb is truly committed to doing the best possible job and assuring the highest quality in every stage of his chosen profession. He and his crew are a joy to work with, and it's obvious that they all enjoy their job and making their customers happy. Caleb was responsive to all our communications and made sure we understood every detail of the entire process. It's very rare that a professional relationship turns into a friendship, but this one did because we were so charmed by Caleb's fun-loving, humorous and thoughtful demeanor and his commitment to high professional quality and ethics. We have recommended him and his company to many of our mountain neighbors because we want everyone to have as positive an experience as we did.

Too good to be true.... WARNING... Do the Math. We had our kitchen done by Colorado & Wyoming Granite and initially loved the results. Unfortunately after further investigation, it turns out they only used 60% of the granite we bought and resold the remaining (1.5 slabs $1875.00) to other customers. From the beginning we questioned if we need to purchase so much material (we bought 240 sqft for 101.5 sqft installed). We were told it is what was needed. We went ahead and purchased what we were told too we needed and let it be known we wanted the left over materials (both verbally and in writing). On the day of installation we were told that all the materials were used. After a few weeks, I started looking at what was installed and realized that indeed there was a slab missing. Our slabs were sequentially cut and each one is unique. I took pictures of what was installed and blew up the pictures of the 4 slabs we purchased and compared them and to my disappointment I noticed an entire slab was missing and a half of another was gone. I went out to their facebook page and saw that within 12 days of my kitchen being installed the ½ slab was in someone else’s bathroom and the full slab was in someone else’s kitchen. I notified Calab in writing on Septemper 30th and he claimed that he would make it right. We met on October 22nd, due to his scheduling conflicts, and I showed him the digital pics and asked to be reimbursed for the whole slab that was missing ($1250). He refused saying that he gave us a great deal. We went to a discount granite provider and apparently our granite was on some massive discount. And when the dust settled we still paid over $80 a sqft. He asked for another 30 days to investigate (no need I had downloaded pics of the kitchen with my 4th distinct slab). Two weeks later, still being blown off. What was sold to us as a great deal, wasn’t great when we looked back and did the math. I would caution anyone using this company not to get taken with the “GREAT DEAL IF YOU ACT TODAY” spiel and do the math. I have pictures and emails if anyone would like to see them. I wanted to add that when the shortage came to light, I did reach out to Caleb and was kind and respectful. He will provide the email where we were patient, and kindly asked for an explanation.
