Learning the craft from my father in my early years instilled in me the pride of work ethic and the satisfaction of a job well done. I carried this with me into my first Tile Apprentice Job with Bill McDonald in Durango, CO. Bill came from a great lineage through Glen Camarca who was widely respected as the best Tile Setter in the 4 Corners for some time. I learned not only a great many things about tile from Bill, but life as well. In 2013 after working for many years on & off with 2180 Lighting & Design(Formely McCormick Tile & Stone) in Durango, CO I ventured out and started my own company, Walter Cockcroft Tile & Stone. Since then I have had the opportunity to work with amazing builders and designers, to have my work in some of Durango’s most recognized custom homes & have been blessed to create some wonderful lifelong friends with my clients. Now, In moving to Nashville, TN I look forward to bringing to same Work Ethic, Unparalleled Finished Product & Fluid Work Process that has made me recognized as one of the Best Tile Setters in the 4 Corners.
