Normandy Remodeling

I am long overdue for this review! My sincere apologies to Maury Jones who has been more than patient waiting for me to boast about my FABULOUS experience with Normandy Remodeling. And...boast, I must! I had a vision (at least I thought I did) about adding an 'outdoor' addition to my home. Maury Jones (designer) worked side-by-side with me through multiple designs until we got it right, together. While he had recommendations, he did not dismiss my wish-list items and tried his best to find every option available to make our collective vision come to life. My new outdoor 300 square foot addition is inclusive of a luxurious stamped concrete 'rustic hardwood' foundation, vaulted ceiling with faux beams, large screen panels (so I can enjoy my view), custom stone knee wall, new patio door, lighting/ceiling fan and even speakers! Every inch of Normandy's craftsmanship was executed to perfection! If you are looking to enhance the beauty of your home, call Maury at Normandy! Every time I walk by the doorway of my new addition, I love it more every day. I could not be happier, and I cannot wait to use it this coming season!

I love my new kitchen. Designer John Long was wonderful. He always addressed my concerns and worked with me to make sure I was satisfied. Project manager Chris kept everything on time and made sure I was in the loop as the project progressed. I had a vision of what I wanted, but I needed the designer’s eye to pull it together. Normandy assembled a great team of contractors, so I didn’t have to worry about finding workers and managing the timeline. There’s no way I could’ve done this on my own. Normandy was worth every penny.

My review today is for Normandy Remodeling's designer, Liz Reifschneider. What a gem she is. Not only did she help us create a light and airy kitchen in a Chicago high rise after downsizing from a large home, she made the entire process seamless and easy. Her ideas and precision in planning made us feel very comfortable and confident. Liz was always available to answer any question and kept us updated as the project unfolded. We would definitely use Liz again ( already planning a bathroom reno ) as she listened to our taste and added her flair for design. Liz is a true professional with a very patient nature and kind heart.

We worked with Liz Reifschneider at Normandy to gut our kids 1950’s bathroom and convert a walk-in cedar closet into an en-suite bathroom for my son. Right from the moment we met Liz we knew she was the right match for the job. Not only does she have excellent taste, but she quickly matched her recommendations with our style and she brought excellent ideas and recommendations to help us throughout the project. The end result was absolutely amazing! We had heard great things about Normandy from our friends and they definitely delivered! As such our neighbor is currently working with them to redo her kitchen and when we are ready to tackle ours, Liz and the team at Normandy will be our only call. Highly recommend!!

We had a great experience in working with Jeremy Paris on the design and concept consultation for an addition and remodel to our home. Jeremy was the most professional that had a great sense of what we were looking for within our project. He also came up with some creative ideas and solutions for spaces and or areas that we had not thought of. Normandy all around was very professional and made the whole process very easy. Thank you Jeremy!!!

Jennifer Cross and Shawn Kostos were our dynamic duo for our family room, kitchen and mudroom renovation. They held our hands when we needed it and let us take our training wheels off as we gained confidence. They are knowledgeable and approachable professionals who take pride in their work. They are the team we will request for our next renovation project . Yes honey, we are redoing the master bath next ;-)

We had a great experience with Normandy. Chris Ebert, our designer, has a incredible eye for design and style. He's very easy to work with and as a bonus, he's a wonderful person. Pete Juska, our foreman, did a great job of communicating with us and keeping the project on track. I highly recommend both of them.

Wonderful experience from start to finish. We hired Normandy to remodel our kitchen, master bathroom and a few additional areas. Liz R was our designer. She has impeccable style, pays attention to detail and is very patient with her clients. Her design was spot on with our needs and we could not be happier with our home. Our superintendent was Rick R. His execution of the project was smooth and flawless. He was on top of the work schedule and made sure there was minimal down time. He turned a 14 week project into a 10 week project. Amazing work! Normandy will have all my future business and I highly recommend them for your remodeling needs.

Becca Ruggiero and Leslie Molloy came up with a plan for our awkward kitchen that not only is beautiful and functional but also actually looks like it was how the space was meant to be all along. The designers were cheerful and a pleasure to work with, and Jim, the project manager was equally friendly, efficient, and thorough. Any small issues were promptly and courteously handled the results are breathtaking and it’s a joy to use.

Jennifer Cross was our kitchen designer who walked us through every step of the massive remodel. She is an exceptional designer and just an absolute joy to work with! We would definitely work with her again.

Normandy was very helpful & skilled in guiding us on deciding all of the multitude of items involved in planning a remodeling project. Normandy was also very good in helping us to find skilled contractors for other items related to this remodeling (but not in Normandy’s scope of work), such as painting, concrete remediation, and landscaping changes. All the work went smoothly and proceeded in a timely matter. The finished project lived up to our vision of what we were trying to accomplish.

We were nervous going into our kitchen remodel and addition, but Normandy eased all our worries. They delivered in everything they promised and really made us feel comfortable with all the decisions we needed to make. Troy Pavelka in particular was very patient and attentive with us. Our project manager Brian communicated with us on a daily basis and made living under construction with two kids bearable! We are grateful to them both and would us then again in a heartbeat!
