Tom Perna

I had the pleasure of working with and getting to know Tom Perna during the 4 years we were Kitchen Designers together at Home Depot. Tom has high ethic and moral standards as well as a high standard of professionalism. He also technical ability that has always inspired me! Tom comes from an industrial design background where he uses his technical skill set to unlock the possibilities to show his customer's the potential for their future space in such a detailed way where he utilizes the technology of 3D computer drawings for the customer's full advantage. Tom also has a very discriminating eye for esthetic and balance. His broad experience of travel and appreciation of art translates into a fantastic unique space for his customers.

Tom Perna redesigned my kitchen, which dated back to when the house was built in 1947. The redesign included replacing all the appliances and cabinets and work surfaces, sink and plumbing, lighting, flooring, painting, wall surfaces and window dressings. He made many helpful suggestions, and he was very creative in his designing to make sure that all available space was used to its fullest. He was also very careful to make his design in the most economical manner. I found Tom very easy to work with, as did the builder. He was able to answer all of the builder's and my questions in a very professional manner. I would highly recommend him as a kitchen designer.

If I could I would work with Tom again because I can trust this man to do what he says.....written by a home coordinator and conceptual designer Terry Tom Perna is one of the most creative men I know. He thinks out of the box and puts his energy into designing a complete, functional and beautiful kitchen that utilizes every inch of your space in the most efficient way. His kitchens WOW his clients. I know.... he worked with me in another State ( Hawaii) when he was learning his trade long before returning back to his childhood home of PA. And, he was an excellent kitchen designer then ,so, I can just imagine how great he has gotten with so many more years of experience.now. I highly suggest that you speak with him to determine your approach to remodel and bring your opportunity to Tom. He will be thoughtful in his approach to listening to your needs and most importantly can be trusted to get the job done on time and at the price point you set.

Tom Perna is the kitchen designer we worked with to renovate the kitchen in our Center City Philadelphia home. Tom is extremely talented. He worked with us to get an esthetically pleasing design that matched the look of our home, overcame the space constraints, and was within our budget. The kitchen Tom designed was both practical and pleasing to the eye. The space was small, so he suggested great improvements from the previous layout, and incorporated design features that maximized the space. The kitchen went from a deficit to a big selling point for the house. Tom was friendly and easy to work with, we would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone! He was very experienced, patiently helped us work through the many choices of materials, and steered us to items based on his comprehensive knowledge. He also made sure the installation went well, and when there was a problem with the timing, stepped in to make sure we got things done one time. Great experience and great result!
