“Latitude 33 Design & Construction recently completed a laundry/mud room remodel for us, and I could not be any happier with the results! They were not the only company that we considered, but they stood out right from the first meeting. Mary listened to me when I described how I needed the room to function, and she and Carlos worked together to completely deliver a room that exceeded my expectations! They both have an eye for minute detail, and I fully trusted them from the very beginning. Mary has an eye for design, and Carlos is a skilled craftsman. The contractors that they employ (an electrician and drywall contractor for our job) are also masters of their skill and of the highest integrity. Everyone was courteous and respectful of our time and home. We felt the cost of the project was competitive and fair. They were mindful of our budget and came up with cost effective solutions wherever they could. We will not hesitate to hire Latitude 33 for any future remodeling needs we have, and we highly recommend them!”

“Our experience with Infinite Home was fantastic! Renovating a home can be very stressful, especially when you're entrusting someone else to accomplish what you visualize for your biggest investment. David and Laurel Mullikin were very communicative and asked lots of questions so that they could fully understand every detail of what we wanted. Yet, at the same time, they would guide us when the options were overwhelming. They have worked on projects in many locations giving them great design diversity. We used online methods such as Pinterest.com and Houzz.com to foster collaboration and bring better clarity. Their online system Build tools also allowed us to be perfectly clear about our selections, leaving us with the final approval. This system allowed us to track the progress of the renovation and communicate about important decisions that needed to made along the way! “The first project we hired them for was to build a screened in porch (2006). Attention to detail is what impressed us the most. Not a corner was cut and they took their time to make sure it was done right. Then we hired them to remodel our guest bathroom (2006). We have a house that was built in 1928 and he was able to solve the problems that arose to update the house. Next, we had had a renovation nightmare from a prior contractor and in 2010, we hired VV Contracting again to come and completely rebuild the entire front of our house. Support beams were rotted and he re-supported our second floor and re-faced it. It feels more solid and stable than it ever has. Now, in 2012, we have hired them again to redo our daughters bathroom and our master bathroom.”

“Construction Ahead took my outdated, childhood home and turned it into a completely different space with a dream kitchen, fabulous master on main, and an award winning master bathroom. And, of course, my husband's favorite, the screened in porch with wood-burning fireplace. My family used to refer to the traditional floor plan as an "ant-farm" and now we have open spaces that flow together perfectly. Living through the construction was actually a fun experience. Well,except not having a working kitchen! We had something new to see everyday and were kept updated on the schedule. We knew what was coming and when. The crew kept everything super neat and the only complaints we had about construction dust was because of our dog! And nothing was more fun than working through the designs! We were given numerous options and color renderings of what the space would look like. I still love comparing the renderings to the final photos. It's been 2 years since the construction was complete and the place is still like new!”

“Raymac Remodeling brought me in as the designer for this job which consisted of renovating two bathrooms for their client. The project included reconfiguring a jack & jill bath into a single bath with more space added to a walk-in closet and updating the other bath with new fixtures, flooring, lighting and cabinetry. Throughout the project the homeowner's home was treated with respect and the work areas were kept clean. Protecting the other areas of the house from dust and dirt were also taken into consideration. Raymac's work ethic and attention to detail definitely sets them apart from their competitors. The clients were extremely pleased because the project was completed on time and within budget. As a designer they were wonderful to work with and I highly recommend them to anyone in the Atlanta area who is considering a renovation project for their home.”

“I cannot say enough good things about SCAL. We have been using Danny and his team for more than 25 years. He has remodeled our kitchen twice, built a brand new second story to our house, and added a third story under our house. We have never sought another bid from another contractor since our first job. The workmanship is first rate and the communications process is better than any other contractor relationship I know of. One specific episode sticks in my mind. During the second story renovation, and before the house was weatherproofed, a rain storm came in. It was February, and at about 9 pm Danny came to the house (un prompted) to check on the condition of the temporary tarp. He climbed up on the roof in the pouring rain to check that it was secure. If contractors could earn medals for conduct "above and beyond," Danny won one that night. We lived in the house for all of the renovations except for the first. Danny was always solicitous of our needs in living through the construction. He and his team listen, they respond, and they do what it takes to make sure the job comes off successfully. The creation of a living space under our house - which required excavating under the house to within 3 feet of the foundation - was an astounding feat of construction engineering. As he excavated, he had to continue to support the house, maintain utilities, and minimize cracks in 80-year old plaster. He had to waterproof the under ground space make sure the house was secure once it was complete. I would simply not have done the project if it was any other contractor. I understand the project was published in the Journal of Light Construction.”

“my experience with Chris Hellman and his work crew Bruce and paco and his subs was great, i have built 2 houses, and renovated 3, this was definatly one of my better experiences. Chris was very easy and kind to work with, he was always available to go and do and shop with me, I have very strong and definate taste and ideas, and he meshed really well. the project started out small but grew, it was obvious that the house was in terrible shape once we got into the electricals, the totally uninsulated walls and ceiling, the poor plumbing etc. we ended up redoing almost everything piecemeal, but this was good as we have a very solid and well built house and whateve innovative suggestions he made came out really well, and every challange that i proposed was met and dealt with. I threw him a lot of curved balls which he caught and ran with. Bruce and Paco, the basic onsite team were more than wonderful. they were always curtious, hard working and always amicable no matter how many times we changed things and added and tore down. i enjoyed the entire process and would work with them again. will submit befoe and after when house is complete.”
