“Prime 1 was the contractor for our 800 square foot addition. They worked closely with us and with our architect to design an addition that met our needs and fulfilled the vision we had in mind. One of our concerns was that the addition should match the period detail of the existing house, and they took every measure to ensure that such was the case. Our foreman was great. You would think he was building the project for himself, because he paid so much attention to every detail. He was always willing to work with us to make changes and listen to our concerns at every stage of the process. The crew was very conscientious and made every effort to minimize the disruption to our daily routine. Space was tight for delivery and staging of materials, but they managed to work within those limitations with little problem. Prime 1 was also willing to let us take on as much of the project as we wanted to do, and they worked with us at great length to keep within our budget. They inspired confidence in us, offering sound advice from experience, and making the venture an enjoyable experience. The finished product is beautiful, and it has been a pleasure to use our new space.”

“Marvista remodeled my 40 year old kitchen, replaced cabinets, counters, sinks, appliances, backsplash, and refinished the floor. Although the layout remained mostly the same, a few simple changes, designed by Marvista, created a cleaner line, more efficient use of space, and best of all, a designer look. I tend to get overwhelmed choosing designs and colors from the myriad options available. Marvista made all of that easy with their excellent guidance and good taste. The job took six weeks, the crew was professional, friendly, and pleasant to have in my home. I love my kitchen!”

“We worked closely with Bob Shelton and his team for a renovation of our outdoor space which included restructuring our deck, concrete work, outdoor lighting, and creating a modern privacy fence. He was one of the only contractors that we had met that was on time for every single appointment we had and he was always well prepared. After discussion of our ideas, he completely understood our style and our needs. He sent us a quote by the next day. He always kept us updated with the timeline and was available to us when we had questions and/or concerns. The carpenters on the job were courteous and professional and were able to answer our questions along the way. They also were on time everyday and worked extremely hard to complete. The work was completed on time and on budget for us. We love the way everything turned out and we can't recommend this company enough! We will definitely be working with Shelton in the future.”

“I called Terry to rescue a remodeling project that had gone horribly wrong. Terry and his son Ryan were able to fix a terrible drywall installation, craft and install window, floor, and ceiling trim, and install a bamboo floor. To finish the job, Pat painted all of the trim and the wall repairs. The quality of their work is perfection and their performance is skillfully professional. Terry sized up my situation, provided excellent advice, and brought the project to completion quickly and reasonably. This family team showed up on time, covered my carpeting and stairs with drop cloths, built the window trim offsite to minimize dust, cleaned up at the end of every workday, and quietly got the job done. I am so impressed with the quality of their work that I requested a proposal to do another renovation project. Do not hesitate to give them a call.”
