Access Control

We hired Access Control to install a vinyl fence, new electric gate and garage door for us, and unfortunately did not have a good experience. We felt the quote was high, but we hadn't made enough comparisons to say for sure. He sold us pretty hard by continuing to emphasize his good work ethic, perfectionism, and honesty. The project that he said would take him 7-10 days ended up taking 6 weeks, and he didn't even complete the job! It took so long because his small team screwed up horribly...TWICE, which he admitted to, and did eventually repair and improve somewhat. The vinyl gate/fence pieces were jaggedly cut, the vinyl was bent and dented, and they poured cement posts in the wrong place, creating a large gap at the end of the fence and narrowing our drive way entry. We were so exhausted with this process, but remained positive and understanding of many many excuses of mistakes and absence. In the end, he promised to finish two small installation additions, but we made the mistake of paying him the rest of the money, so of course he never returned to finish (he said it would be within the next day and a half). We contacted him by phone, email, and text, yet never heard back. We are just so disappointed with this unprofessionalism and wanted to prevent others from experiencing what we did.
