“I had the pleasure of working with Ernie to resolve a problem caused by an fireplace chimney cleaning contractor telling me that there was a problem with the chimney flue of my Isokern fireplace. I fell for his pitch which resulted in the installation of a 8" in diameter flexible metal hose in my chimney. This caused multiple problems as the smoke from the fire did not vent correctly. Ernie offered multiple solutions to the problem and after choosing one he and his assistant were able to remove the flexible hose and restore the original venting.
