Ic flooring did a wonderful job at sanding and refinishing our floors. The work was done quickly and efficiently and I highly recommend this company to anyone needing wood floor services.

Hardwood floors were installed in my family room. I purchased my own flooring. The installers were very courteous, fast, and cleaned up any debris. The price was very reasonable. I love my new floor and will definitely use them again.

These guys did a great job refinishing the hardwood floors in my new home. The house was built in 1953 and the floors were in need of sanding/refinishing. We also had hardwood installed in the kitchen to replace the original tile floor, so it needed to be stained to match the existing wood. IC did that beautifully and the floors all throughout the house look fantastic. The guys were curteous and professional, and the price was very competitive. I highly recommend this company.

I highly recommend IC Custom Hardwood flooring. Calin, who owns and operates the company, is a "Master of his Trade". Calin was recommended to me from an Interior Designer who used IC Custom Hardwood flooring for her own home. Calin and his crew of workers were at my home on time, professional, and conscientiousness of all of their work. The scope of the job encompassed installing new hardwood floors in 2 bedrooms and refinishing all of the flooring in my 3500 square foot 4 bedroom home. My worn, damaged , vintage floors look like new. Calin advised me on what stain and treatment would look the best given the type of wood. He is an expert on wood stains and treatments. He has even created his own secret solution, that can turn an ordinary floor into something extraordinary. The floors in my house entail 3 different types of Oak wood and each required a different stain. After sanding and removing the old stain Calin discovered the previous owners had used Red and White Oak planks for the same floor. He informed me that Red and White Oak do not take the stain and treatments the same. Therefore, we had to take out and replace all of the Red Oak planks that were interspersed , The stain match he did on the new floors next to the old flooring is nothing short of amazing. My new floors look as if they were built with the home in 1949, without the vintage wear and tear. They are beyond beautiful! The job was completed on time and on budget. It was such a pleasure working with Calin and his IC Custom Hardwood Flooring crew. They transformed my home into a Work of Art.

I got this contractor by chance from the internet and hired them to sand and finish, for the first time, floors in one of my rental apartments. Not only did they do a wonderful job at a fantastic price in a very timely manner but also offered me advice about rental units and flooring upkeep. I took their advice and now, when I change renters, the floors are no longer a hastle...I just call IC CUSTOM HARDWOOD and they come in and fix any problem right away...I have called them for all my other units and they are now the first ones called for any hardwood flooring needs. I would highly recommend this excellent company!

I chose IC Custom Hardwood Flooring after years of using the same company with less than adequate results. Their bid on the job was fair, were readily available to answer questions, did the work at the agreed upon time, and the workers were pleasant, efficient, and kept both the noise and debris to a minimum in a difficult restaurant environment. I look forward to using their services again in the future. Calin, the supervisor, was a pleasure to work with.

This company is excellent. I bought a 25 year old townhouse and nothing had ever been updated. Mr. Pecura and his crew started by removing a wall between the kitchen and dining room and installing beautiful custom grey hardwood floors. I wasn't sure about the color, so they created numerous samples for me to choose from. They went on to install doors, tile in two baths, vanities and kitchen cabinets, new woodwork, a new stair rail, a fireplace (including the insert) and all new lighting and electrical outlets. They painted the entire place too. I love the results! Calin Pecura and his crew are gentlemen-- and very skilled. I highly recommend them.

Description Of Work: Installed new hardwood floors in the dining room and study, new stairs (treads and risers) to the second floor and new wood in the upstairs hall. They sanded the existing hardwood down to the original wood and stained and finished both existing wood and the new wood so it appears as though all the wood was installed at the same time. The job went very well, indeed despite some inherent challenges that the project entailed. One of the main obstacles was blending the new hardwood flooring with existing hardwood in the foyer and kitchen area. This involved cutting out some of the existing flooring and staggering the new wood so the seams would not show and it would look like all the hardwood was installed at the same time. They also had to compensate for a poor job done by another company by installing new and much better looking and fitting wood thresh holds leading to the laundry room and the upstairs bath. The existing hardwood floors were in poor shape due to age and excessive usage so after all the new wood and stairs were installed the entire wood floor was sanded down to the original wood, stained and finished with several coats of scratch resistant poly. Note: to help us decide on a stain color they actually rolled out three different stains on the floor so it was relatively easy for us to make that all important color decision. Once the stains dried back they were sanded off and the floor was readied for the stain application process. In addition to the work outlined above IC Custom installed all new quarter round trim throughout the work area, pulled up a portion of the subfloor that was badly damaged and replaced it with new subfloor material. Likewise, stair carpeting and carpeting in the upstairs hall were also removed and carted away. After the job was complete and upon close examination we realized that the installation of one tread did not meet our expectations. All it took is one call to IC Custom and they had a man to our house the next day where he set about and fixed the problem to our complete satisfaction. Also worth mentioning was the care the team exhibited in sealing off our rooms to minimize dust and dirt transfer from the work area to other parts of the home.
