Bolster Studio

Preparing a studio space for video production is different from traditional commercial clients because we have to keep acoustics and lighting in mind for every decision. We plan to leave most of the 1000 sq ft. space open for flexible video production and photography sets. So her design is focusing on a small lounge area for guests, a hair & makeup station, and our office design. She’s also helped coordinate basic set pieces/furniture for use in videos. She walked through the rooms with us and brought up ideas that we hadn’t even considered. Her guidance has definitely helped us clarify our vision for how the space will be used and what will make our client’s comfortable when they visit. Having the guidance of a pro should never be underrated! Liz has listened to our ideas and took them to the next level. She was available for important decisions as they came up, and was flexible about a few choices we preferred over her suggestions. Her money-saving tips also made me feel comfortable because she demonstrated the importance of spending for quality products, while keeping discounts in mind when she could find them. Not only did she help keep us focused on our budget and choices, she went above and beyond fixing our blackout curtains with her own sewing machine! We have gotten so many compliments on the cozy, modern feel we gave to our studio with Liz's help. We love it!
