Hi! My name is Ashlie Schonbeck. I graduated in Interior Design from LDS Business College in 2014. I started my interior design career at sixteen years old. I grew up in the furniture business & started learning design at a young age. My mother is a well known Interior Designer in the Salt Lake Valley. She also has been a Salt Lake City Parade of Homes Judge multiple times. She owned & operated a 20,000 sq ft design firm & showroom. 10,000 sq ft of that manufactured custom upholstery. She taught me the ins & outs of the trade as I worked closely with her. I studied under her while going to high school & college. After graduating from college I started my career as a Lighting & Shading Project Specialist. I specified lighting, roller shades and window treatments for high end vacation homes. I also called on Architects and Engineers to specify lighting for commercial projects. I worked as an Interior Designer at Ethan Allen. I also had the opportunity to work for a Design Firm in Park City where I specialized in designing high-end homes & rental properties. I started my freelance Interior Design business, Ashlie Lynne Design in 2018. The past four years my background includes designing & furnishing new construction and remodels for both residential and commercial spaces. Some of my portfolio highlights include: In 2020, I helped coordinate furniture selections & supplied all of the furniture for a $2.5 Million Home in the Park City Parade of Homes. In 2020, I also had the opportunity to work on a 6,000 sq ft modern home that overlooks the entire Salt Lake Valley. In 2021, I had the opportunity to work for the Orem Mayor, Dave Young. I designed the remodel & furnished his business, Paragon Wealth. I also had the opportunity to work on his home. In 2022, I am currently working on designing & furnishing a 10,000 square foot Utah Valley Parade of Home for 2023.
