About Us
My name is Vera Indenbaum and I founded the Antique Textile Clinic in 1996. I have over 30 years of experience in restoration and conservation of antique textiles. I am a professional associate of the American Institute of Conservation, and a member of the Textile Museum Associates of Southern California and the Textile society of America.
I was born and educated in Moscow and certified as an Antique Textile Conservator by the Russian Ministry of Culture after my internship and employment at such prominent museums and art conservation centers as the Russian Federation Museum of Decorative Art, the Grobar Conservation Center, the Moscow Kremlin Museums and the Gedeminas Center for Art Conservation (Vilnus, Lithuania).
I have continued as a Textile Conservator in private practice since my arrival in the United States.
