I have had the privilege to work with Scott on insurance claim-related jobs for a couple of different high-end properties so far (fire and water damage). In each case, Scott ended up getting nearly twice as much as the insurer was originally offering due to mistakes he found in their assessments. Scott was a great advocate and removed quite the undue financial burden to his customer. I can't imagine how it would have gone not having Scott involved.

Scott and his team at big renovations are excellent and professional at what they do. Experience, quality, attentiveness to detail, and honesty. It seems silly but rare to find in construction company. I have used Scott for 10 years and three different projects. He understands the needs of a project, the requests/requirements of his clients and he is true to his words and cares about his projects. 10/10 will use again and will recommend anyone planning a project to give these guys a call. Scott’s thoroughness, thoughtfulness and knowledge on this job was just perfect. He really thought everything through for turning a room under our home into a gorgeous wine cellar. When he first walked us through the space with his ideas, it was obvious he understood the possible issues and how to prevent them - whether it was humidity, off-gassing the custom wine racks off site, to keep the fumes out of the closed space, lighting - everything. The workers were professional and super clean. There was some complications with the refrigerator, but Scott was on top of it at every turn - contacting the manufacturer, even using a different HVAC guy to get the job done perfectly. We couldn’t be happier with the whole process, but especially the end result. We are currently using Scott for another space and it’s so nice having the confidence that everything will be perfect.
